This sleeping bag has been with me through thick and thin. I took it on damp and rainy backpacking trips, hot summer nights, and even cold winter trips. It has not let me down. In this gear review, I’ll go over all of the features, how to get into and close it, and compress it in its stuff sack. I included a few scenes from camping trips of the past where it has played a vital role in staying safe and comfortable. Don’t miss the overhead shots from my drone either while I climb into my bag and while I pack it :)

Have you had any issues with some of the down coming out along the seams? I have a Blue Kazoo that is probably 10 years older than yours and it is 'leaking' feathers so I had to send it back to North Face. Thanks for the review!
Hi Jeff, thanks for watching my video and for your comment. Yes, this sleeping bag also loses feathers once in a while, but it seeps normally for all down products, at least those that I own. How did The North Face respond to you sending it back? Did they value their lifetime warranty?

I haven't washed it yet. It's still very puffy and looks clean, thankfully. It's a different story with my light down jacket. Maybe I should film washing it :)
@@adventuresandreams Yes the loft looked really good in your bag so I assumed you might have washed it. I've been dreading washing my Western Mountaineering bags. I just imagine rinsing them is the real work.
@@boutthere3374 Yeah, I've been trying to take really good care of it. It probably got dirtier on that video shoot than on all of my trips combined :D I know people who wash their sleeping bag every year, which sounds kind of destructive to me, but it seems to work for them. If you ever was yours, let me know how it went!

Ah, interesting! I've never seen it in person. I would love to know what you think about it. Are the features similar? And yes, how does the white hold up?? :D I do love the dark color. Who doesn't get some dirt into their tent? If you remember, please let me know how your experience with this bag is going. On a side note, I forgot to mention in the video that I never had to wash my sleeping bag. After all these years, it's still super fluffy and warm. It truly is an excellent quality, and I hope that yours will be the same. Have fun on your adventures! :)
