Watching this scene on a big tv screen.. It's amazing
i think it is quite new to see a kdrama male lead so insecure. Usually this only happens to the female lead while the guy is always super sure of himself. But here we see that dosan second guesses himself all the time and can never seem to own up his accomplishments. He fidgets whenever he is challenged and can easily get emotional. Looking forward to seeing his growth at the end.

Yes, Dosan is the one who always comes first. When she asked who wrote the letters, she asked 'was it Dosan or you? (Jipyeong)', in which she mentioned Dosan first. Also, in the scene where she cries in her room, she is looking at the baseball first before the old letter.

Honestly he ‘ s one of the most sweet caring and unproblematic male leads in k-dramas i’ve seen so far. Im really surprised that a lot of people are still rooting for the second male lead ( the actor is wonderfull by the way) but he’s a little tsundere that we see a lot in k-dramas . For that reason Do-san all the way ( Also his chemistry with suzy is perfect)

Omg exactly... I love Ji Pyeong but his fandom GOES TOO FAR. Seon Ho did great, but yea, practically about 87% of his character's fandom is just straight up cruel and toxic. That's because he is the typical K drama male lead. Tsundere, rich, handsome. Everyone dreams to be with someone like that. It's just so unrealistic. I love do san's character because he seems more human like us. Ordinary, self conscious, doubt, unsure, est. We've all been there. But, for some reasons, a lot of people just go for someone that doesn't exist (unrealistic).
The second lead stans can pretend the rest of the cast are outshined by their fave but this right here...their acting, these two they’re what’s carrying this show on its back. I was sobbing with them during this whole scene. Give these two all the awards!

I can’t get over how amazing of an actor Nam Joo Hyuk has become. This goes for Suzy too. Especially because i am the same age as them and I began watching them since their early days in Dream High and School 2015. I could see how drastic their improvement was. Just outstanding. They are definitely on their way to become legends and actors to watch out for.

their acting is really something else. i'm getting sick of some people that still arguing between dosan and jipyeong, gosh just enjoy the drama. but for me personally the chance of dosan-dalmi being together is 99% , the 1% left is for open ending. there's a scene where dalmi just got home after all of this, in her room she's looking at the ball dosan gave to her and the letter from jipyeong, at the end of the scene she hold the ball instead of the letter, i think it's a hint that she'll choose dosan at the end. but yeah it's just my theory, 6 episodes left i hope they'll be more focus on the 'start up' for now.

it's just that JP is a really great support actor and is acting took the drama up a notch that people just want the best for him... of course the drama has a generic ending were dalmi and dosan end up together .... it's the expected end i guess viewers wanted a twist.. I for one am part of those who ship JP.. it's a painful watch where a plot is so painfully obvious and the support actor is moving more hearts.... I hope seon ho gets an award for his performance it was super believable....

Alex may have been bad for his love life, but the fact that he wanted to hire DS the moment SST won Coda shows that he would have been a much better mentor than JP who saw no worth in DS. Success requires the luck to have your talent recognised & nurtured in the right environment. JP without Grandmother's unconditional love would have ended up like other unlucky orphans, his talent in investing wasted, him being judged for being a nobody. Even before DS met DM he wanted SST to be successful, hence his request that JP be their Sherpa and/or help them get into Sandbox. But DM definitely gave him an extra boost with her inspiring ideas & believe in his potentials.
Jipeong also apologizes for his mistakes, but also speaks up for Dosan. Do you see Dosan speaking up for Jipeong?
@@MeatPeddlar Right after he "speak up" for DS he confess his feelings for DM. The order matters. That's like a declaration of war. If he had reversed the order then I'd give you his generosity. And afterwards the number of times he manipulated the situation to keep DS-DM apart totally negated his generosity. Eg he should have apologised to DS not DM right after he stopped DS from seeing DM after the ransomware incident. Beware of false generosity - it's like for show rather than being genuinely benevolent. Not until the very end did JP finally learn to do things that are truly genuine. Like donating to the orphan's charity. And not getting in the way of DS-DM reunion realising those 2 really loved each other. I don't blame him for being selfish given his hard childhood. But that doesn't mean I'm going to condone or even excuse his misbehaviours. Just like one wouldn't encourage DS to go for CEO position JP equally needs some gentle tough love.

1. He joined Sandbox as a mentor on the off-chance that Samsan Tech would make it, without knowing that Dal Mi was going to be there
2. He never said anything untrue. DS and Samsan Tech would never have made it if they had never met DM. He is too harsh at times but sometimes only harsh lessons can help a person see the light
3. He tried to stop the acqhiring immediately; a scheming person would have considered that it would have separated Dal Mi and DS and let it happen instead.
4. A benevolent person will speak fairly; the order doesn’t matter. An unscrupulous person would take such an opportunity to totally smear the other person and “win” immediately. That is what liars would do.
Yes, I am disappointed in my Good Boy by ep 12 because the key quality that DS has over him is that he has courage to go for what he wants regardless of obstacles. But Good Boy is called Good Boy for a reason, which is that he is good. Anyway in the story both male leads have done good and bad so that is what it makes it interesting
The emotion is overflowing. You can clearly see Do San's longing to be someone she loved. Beautiful acting from these two. ❤️

Nam joo hyuk is soooooo good in this scene. Well in many scenes. I really mesmerized with his acting. To bad k dramas are really underestimated. This guy should be known and apprecieated worldwide. One of the best scenes. The whole show is a gem as well. Both the story and actors are amazing.
His answer was a good one. He said it so well. Great acting! Getting to know Nam Joo Hyuk better and better. Suzy Bae was terrific too. Her emotions was so real. Loving her too!
Dalmi and Dosan are so compatible and compliment each other so well. Their personalities, their views on life, their EQ. Even without those lies, i’ve no doubt they would still come across each other and fall in love. Dalmi needs time to process everything and once she found out that she really fall in love with Dosan’s real self, she will open her heart again. Even they’ll be separated after Dosan go to US, she probably still waiting for him. We’re at ep 10 so it’s either Dodal’s endgame or open ending. Idk if JP has chance. He needs a lot of catch up. The grown JP’s personality is nothing like the letters. So yeah..this drama has so much more to offer. Hope people can see and cherish for their journey.
I like Dosan character the most, he is a simple man when he lobe he show it and act for it, many times he already proof to us how he willing to give anything for Dalmi sake, and for people to say they pick jp bc of his success or money, Dosan will not stay the same, he is a genius, he just need a little push and he will be more successfull than anyone..
I love a man who have money and power, but I like a man who can be always by my side, take my side, and have a full potentials like Dosan

@@Anonymous-lh7hg he was actually pretty responsible and put his best foot forward to ensure Dalmi had a shot in the start up world... when it comes to love he only romantised her when they started to work together...was it terrible for him to lie yes but his case was more complex because he needed to lie for the grandma sake because she wanted dalmis joy.. he should have just stayed as a pen pal and the grandma never dragged him into the saving dalmis face... agreed dosan will get the girl but the character depth and development was spent on JP making his story very interesting

Big yikes to people who only validate Ji Pyeong’s feelings. He’s not the only one who had a rough childhood here but the three of them. And you can’t quantify and compare the pain of their childhood because they lived in different circumstances.
Dalmi lost everyone too except for halmeoni. And she received the most damage here cos she was too trusting even if she was betrayed by her sister and mom in the past. And for Dosan, imagine being put in a pedestal by your parents, forcing you to go to college 6 years earlier with peers that are so much older than you. You just want to be a normal kid but he’s being forced to be perfect. He lived with that pressure and feeling of being a fraud for 15 years and now is the only time he became completely happy. But people keep pitying only Ji Pyeong. And in real life, do you choose who you love by picking the one who is more pitiful? Is that how it works? Wouldn’t you fall for the person who shows much more effort? In this episode Ji Pyeong already confessed but it was Dosan who went above and beyond to show how sorry (even when they’re equally at fault) and supportive of Dalmi he was. Give me a break.
Ps. Spectacular performance from Nam Joo Hyuk and Suzy. And Joohyuk’s acting completely broke my heart.

The one thing that most HJP fans don’t see is that JP is exactly where he wanted to be...rich and successful. He may have started alone but after he met grandma he had a choice to keep in touch with her and Dalmi, but he didn’t. He chose to be the lone wolf, chose to be a mean and ruthless type of business man and he reached the top of his career! I don’t know why people feel sorry for him. If he wants a relationship he can make better connection with people. Dalmi is not the only woman out there! Yes he may be sad he is losing her to Dosan but I think a big part of that is his ego is hurt that he may lose to someone he considered a loser. He is not letter Dosan now...he wasn’t even letter Dosan all those years ago. Letter Dosan was a work of fiction...combining Jp, the grandmother and the ideal person they thought Dalmi would want.

this scene absolutely destroyed me. Suzy and Nam Joo Hyuk absolutely destroyed me. Dosan, who couldn't bear to see the woman he loved in so much pain, and knowing that it was partly because of him... Nam Joo Hyuk showed Dosan's pain so well. And poor Dalmi, her world just came crashing down around her and you can tell in this scenes she's just numb. She's reached that point in her heartbreak where she just feels numb... can't sing enough praises about Suzy in this scene. We are so blessed to have actors like them portray a couple like DoDal. the bts of this scene will be so painful to watch.

Suzy and Nam joo hyuk have done an excellent job in startup. The way they portrayed their character and expressed their emotions is just AMAZING but sighhh how I wished they were appreciated and respected in this drama as main leads. The disrespect their characters is getting is really sad. People are downgrading their characters to uplift their faves. I m not saying you cant root for ur faves , root for them as much as u want bt at least dont slander the other characters to glorify ur faves. If you dont have anything nice to say then atleast dont say bad things to them. Even attacking them personally, commenting on their ig abt certain character when they are posting pics together or alone is just plain rude!! People as fans should know when not to cross the line . Suzy has gotten so much better as well. I can say this because I have watched her grow in almost all her acting projects.
Nam joo huk. Well done. His character is complex but is not entirely weak. Like all of us too. We have strengths and weaknesses. He is sensitive, kind and good and intelligent in his field. His inner compass is there. Nam joo hyuk does very well in his role. It is easy to admire jipyeong, but do san has actually more depth and warmth. He captures my attention more.
Every time I watch it I cry like a baby. NJH, you're insanely good, you made me believe every word your character said and every feeling he expressed. I am beyond impressed. The duo with Suzy is so charismatic, even a couple truly in love could't portray it better. I just loved this story so much.
