- Let's take a leisurely stroll around Cleethorpes and see what has changed since my last visit. I enjoyed observing the bustling activity on the beach, the lively atmosphere in the arcades, and the surprisingly busy fish and chips establishments. The variety of fish and chips shops and restaurants was a pleasant discovery for me.
I had delightful conversations with the friendly locals, including police officers Don & Ashley. A special thank you goes out to Jamie, the owner of Reef Rash watersports shop, for maintaining his business for 30 years.
Overall, my day of filming was truly amazing, and Cleethorpes appears to be thriving. It is indeed a fantastic destination for a holiday or a leisurely visit. Thank you to everyone for the warm welcome!

Was in Cleethorpes visiting my family last week during the Armed Forces weekend where 250,000 viisitors turned up over the weekend. The town centre was literally packed with visitors. What a great week for the town.
We moved to just outside Cleethorpes 6 months ago…I love it. People are friendly and I get to see the sea every day

Lovely place is cleethorpes with loads to do and the best beaches
Used to come to cleethorpes in our touring caravan and stayed at Thorpe parks caravan site. The night life in cleethorpes was very good. I've never seen the sea so farin on the beach near where the rides are.

@neilrgreatestadventures Yeah it was a really great day, the lifeboat station isn't fully built because (from what I heard) the company that was building it went bust

The building that you asked about used to be a Toby Inn which became Deans night club in 1983, then became JD's night club after a refurb in 1996, not sure when it was converted to apartments, maybe early 2000s.

shame about pleasure island although Tuckers Funfairs go there 2 weeks at easter and summer holidays at the meridian showground also i believe premier inn have pulled out of cleethorpes
From Grimsby best chippy is ocean fish bar down st peters avenue where shops are
