As a camper I have a power station in my car and I will check anything electrical while I'm still at the car boot sale. If it don't work, me and my power station (proof) are straight back to the stall for a refund. I have had to do it a few times. I always ask the seller if it doesn't work can I get a refund. If they say no, I don't buy it. If they say yes I tell them I'm going to my car to test it.

I just wanna look for some cool stuff to buy but its all already been bought a lot of the time. I pivked up a couple of albums I wanted at least but it feels more agressive every time theres one now lol

That's why i avoid buying electrical goods as you can never test them only place i used to go where you could test them was studley in (Redditch) and that was a massive car boot and was open for years till the land owner died and the family shut it (was a shame) as it was great as the family wanted to sell the land for houseing till they found out the old boys will saying they couldn't 😂🤣
It's a car boot sale, mostly old used items so why are sellers asking such ridiculous prices. I wouldn't buy anything from sellers that try and scam buyers.

Not to say there's never been a problem, but then that's the same with any culture. Good and bad amongst everyone

I notice you now sell lot higher value stuff only in your store where before used to sell lots low evd stuff. Did you make a conscious decision to only sell higher value stuff and clear all the cheaper stuff out of your store?
I worked on my avg sale price 👍🏻 at first I build my store up with whatever I could while I learnt what I was doing. Then once I had a backlog of stuff to keep me afloat I worked on figuring out what sold fast and for the best profit. My avg sale price went from about £12 to £40. And I get to sell less for more which is also nice.

@@bezzle123 I did it over two and a half year. I just slowly stopped picking up slower low value items and focused more on items that sold for more and faster 👍🏻 my eBay is 850 listed 550 sold in 90 days.

If a seller says something works and it doesn't you are legally entitled to a refund for it. I have taken things back to a bootsale the following week and demanded my money back - and got it! You've even got proof as you are recording the transactions...
Sellers unpacking their stuff and people like you are trying to go into the bags and take things out. Have a bit of patience, even she has to say "if you me a second I'll have them out". Chill out dude and give people a bit of time
I don’t have time for none of that. Just buy cheap enough to cover any potentially broken items and it’s all good. Law of averages 👍🏻 I’d lose more money if I stood there and tested it all in the field.
