- When I was reading WoF A Guide To the Dragon World it says that the white wingless dragon from book 5 might be from a new tribe so that is what this video is about. The picture of the wingless dragon belongs to Mike Holmes. The Guide to the Dragon world cover belongs to Joy Ang. Wings of Fire belongs to Tui T. Sutherland.
In book 5 graphic they explained what this dragon is. It's a sandwing icewing hybrid in Burn's palace, explained by Smolder, Burn's brother. This is not a new tribe, unless they decide to keep breeding...
In the graphic novels, Smolder tells Sunny that it is a sandwing/icewing hybrid and that burn has strong opinions about mixing sandwing blood.
Yes but he said "Claimed" to be a hybrid so it can still be a new tribe but it does have a strong resemblance to icewings tho.

Looks like a wingless icewing, like you said, could have had it's wings cut off, which would make sense, Sunny could just being naive.

Unless im Wrong it looks different from an icewing since it would have lots of spikes on its neck. And it looks pure white-? Idk

Its either a beetlewing or "spiderwing" hint for arc 4. Also there is an unknown dragon named beryl on scarlets list. I bet they will be a part of arc 4

Things in the graphic novel were changed to make more childish readers understand better, such as Osprey's (??) wings. they were torn off in the novel, but in the book he couldnt fly due to a broken tail, so maybe!
i think it might just be a wingless icewing-sandwing hybird, but i might be wrong, i haven't read the series in a long time

In the book it was said that the dragon who sold it said it was an Ice-Sand hybrid, thing that many dragons didn't believe. The description, with buds where there are the wings, corrispond to a SilkWing dragonet, dragon unknown to Pyrrhia. But who made the comic draw the dragon according to the words in The Brightest Night

in the lost content Sunstreak calls Dragon ¨the old language¨ which means Pantala had some connection to Pyrrhia or the Leafwings and Beetlewings came from Pyrrhia. also in the humans version of the scourching didnt the dragons come to Pantala after them?
When i reread the books, my first thought when getting to that to the weirdling tower was ¨what if its a evolution thing?¨
like how hivewings were children of Sunstreak and Clearsight.

It could be a silk wing. See where the wings were cut off? If it were another dragon it would not me so thin.
its probably an icewing and silk wing or just a deformed ice wing that was booted out for being deformed doesnt really look like a new tribe tbh. its just like how the humans think sunny is from a different near extinct tribe since she is a smaller sand wing with no tail barb its there perception and guessing. it was said in context of character and not narrator so things can be wrongly stated since they dont know
I always thought it was a Silkwing Icewing hybrid, maintaining the double wings of the Icewing but having buds like the Silkwing
i think its a deformed icewing with a bit of silkwing and sandwing and possibly hivewing. so ima say its a sh** mix

Hold up I thought Ark 4 wasn't happening I needed to read all the books that I have and read the guide and the other legends book from Ark 3. I am surprized that this is happening hope it is very dragon war-like if it happens like the first 5 books.
