My son, who is a man sewing in training (he’s 6!), has been wanting to make scarves for Christmas- I think this will be right up his alley!! Straight seams, lots of practice keeping them even, I think it’s great!

Oh, this is just great, Rob! My father was just telling me how he's worn out his old wool scarf. He's going to love the soft warmth of the flannel! Thank you so much!!!!!

I love the 70's sorta "Welcome Back Kotter" vibe these have. Always loved that palette of color. These also would be pretty with a contrasting color as a border that is crocheted for a feminine rustic feel. But I'm a crocheter. I believe anything looks good with crochet on it XD

Hey, Jenna, I taught both of my boys how to sew when they were only 4 and 5 years old!!! I put my sewing machine on top of a piano bench so they could very easily control the machine at their own level, while sitting on small chairs in front of the machine. They only made stuffed animals at that early age, but later on were able to use the sewing machine to do mending and make other creative projects.

The flannels you show are different than the ones that are in the list . The ones in the supply list have no red or blue. Like the ones you are showing in the tutorial. Where can we get the ones you are using. Thanks.

Just a thought --- you said don't twist the scarf before you join. However, if you did you would create a Möbius strip (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Möbius_strip) which would truly make it an infinity scarf! Would love you to try it and show us.
