- This here is a 2008 Freightliner box truck that has been redone on the inside. It has things like alcantara headliner and alcantara dash, 2 original speakers that were upgraded to pioneer speakers, upgraded boss 460brgb stereo which is pretty cheap but works pretty well and has everything you will need, 4 custom added speakers from a Honda Odyssey two in the middle of the dash and two in the headliner, two 12” boss subwoofers with a boss amplifier, floor carpet, two upgraded seats the driver one is from a Mazda while the passenger one is from a Honda Odyssey, added fog lights, and the noise cancellation has been improved by adding foam on the inside of the doors and between the headliner and the roof. All of these things have improved the truck and made it much more enjoyable and comfortable to drive.
Nice for a old truck. Good music as well.
Looks nice 👍 clean setup
Thank You
The 2 original dash speakers. Are 5.25? And they are clip in conectors or wire to wire?
Nice, good job!!!
Hey how you end up installing those other seats I been trying to take the freight ones out and install some other confortable seats
Can you please let me know where did you buy your wire harness for the radio because I’m trying to install mine in my freightliner M2
Thanks for sharing this! I recently purchased an 08 M2 like this and I want to make it comfortable for long trips. Did you try to use the Honda drivers seat too? Do you think it would fit? I really like how yours fits. Looks better than the Freightliner seat.
Thanks I appreciate it, I didn’t try using a Honda driver seat so I can’t confirm if it is going to work easily or not
For the driver seat is it still air ride after installing a Mazda seat? Also which make n model was it from, coz this freight-liner seat are not good at all.
Yes the driver seat is still air ride, I don’t exactly remember which make and model it was from, I’ll have to find out and let you know, yeah the original freight liner seat is terrible I don’t understand how they put such a bad seat in a truck that gets driven so much.
@@yuradanylchenko4869 yeah mine gives me problems. With the seat u replaced both top and bottom cushions right? Do u have any pictures of how it looks?
So the seat is from a Mazda 3 but you you can probably use any seats which ever fits you best and whatever is the most comfortable for you.
@@yuradanylchenko4869 thanks
Can you explain how you installed aftermarket radio ? Any wiring harness or how you do it
No there was no extra wiring harness needed the plug on the radio is the same as on the car but you have do de pin some wires meaning pull them out of the plug otherwise the stereo is not going to turn on
Dope 🔥🔥🔥
Imagine the ground shaking from bass on the road... And this drives by instead of a civic
Can you please let me know if you have the part number for the wire harness because I am trying to change my radio and don’t know where to get the wire harness from to put in my radio in my box truck that is a freightliner M2
It’s the original Freightliner wiring harness. I just re-pinned. So just switched the wires around to get it working with the radio
Do you have more videos or pictures what you do on the doors or the hood please
Yes I do, but basically where it was just a bare metal door i insulated it with this thick foam that a glued on there with this spray on glue, and it’s really quite in the car now and you can hear by the closing of the door on how it sounds.
@@yuradanylchenko4869 where did you buy the foam and whats the name of the foam.
I did not purchase it, I just had it laying around. So I’m not sure where they sell it, I think any foam will be better than nothing as long as it is dense.
How do you remove the dash to replace the speakers?
You have to remove the front panel where all the controls and air vents are. Then from there you you remove the top dash piece.
What size are the original dash speakers
Honestly I am not sure, I don’t exactly remember.
How to do that?
I would say just start by doing one thing at a time, start taking the interior apart and wrapping it in alcantara then wire the subwoofer so on and so forth.
@R6Dad Gaming No you don’t but it won’t work if you just plug it straight in, although the connector is the same the wires are not in the same place so you have to re pin them basically switch the places of the wires. I think the wiring harness on the truck only has like 5 wires coming out of it so it’s not too bad. It happened to us when we tried to just plug it straight in lol.
