This is a video for informational purposes about finding front running horses by Caan Berry.
Caan, i really dont know how much i can thank you giving us a daily front runner list i have recently started to use it and oh my god your picks are like a traders wet dream there spot on, Thank you once again for this daily list, i really hope one day i can trade like you your a true inspiration.
absolute brilliant mate..Watch it lst night mate and today brought up the trend line and dumped it in play {down the trend line} a few ticks above its highest low, thanks alot bud.
I'm learning a lot from the contents you share since I got to know your channel. Good work.
Brilliantly explained as usual, Caan. Super clear, extremely useful info. Really appreciate you sharing so much, so frequently. Cheers legend!
I did wonder about the BF "front runner" highlights they have added. Always prefer my own research rather than their advice. Good starting block but wouldnt go with it 100% without further research. Great vid - cheers.
Excellent advice. One annoying thing happens occasionally is when the horse is normally a front runner and they decide to hold it up, especially when there aren't any other obvious front runners.
This is why you MUST watch down at the start :)
That situation can happen in an instance such as the horse doesnt break from the stalls well or perhaps the jockeys instructions are different . If information/formbook tells you the horse is a front running type but hasnt won in that way, trainers might instruct a rider to hold him up a bit because they want to try something different. Dont rely on anything 100%.
Racing is not an exact science.
Great video Caan :)
Another great video caan
Where can you find that info on timeform
I guess you'd take into account the draw ( flat ) and going preferences ? I've also found outsiders who go off in front often don't contract much at all. Would you say there's an optimal top price to take ?
Hi Caan thanks for the video very nice profit. how do you watch the racing when I watch the betfair video on a very small screen it is very hard to see my selections do you have a better alternative to watching the races ? thanks .
Zoom your browser in a bit :) 120% should be enough.
Haha had similar execution on this runner and just a bit smaller green.
Happy days :) glad to hear it.
Hi Caan just a quick question is there any chance of getting a list of your previous selections for this I would like to test something if possible
There isn't one kept; because its a 'shortlist' to keep an eye on and do a little extra looking, expeically down at the start with the runners behaviour. Every day there are some that don't qualify and aren't a play based on their behaviour at the start (step 4 I think it was). It's like being a tipster etc, there are too many variables.
@@CaanBerryProTrader Thanks Caan you are right anything could happen at the start of the race
Caan how come betfair stopped providing the TF pacemaps? I found them to be useful.
I have no idea mate I think it was just a trial that they were testing as it had a little note stating in beta. as with all things I suspect they will either continue and charge for it or remove it permanently
So technically youre cashing out your bet as soon as you beleive it will drop from the front? Or are you going from Bet to lay?
Thanks for your content.
Hi Caan a quick question if you didnt pay the £75 per month for timeform how long would it take you to get all of this info for the days racing
Another great and helpful video thank you Caan. How do you work out your lay stake when in ruining? You placed a back bet of £75 prior to the race starting but then I see you layed a larger amount in play.
The software worked it out for me :) I placed a couple 25 lays then hit hedge on the p/l column.
@@CaanBerryProTrader dammit lol
Looks really nteresting, but the Timeform data shown in the video and on your website page, is not available on my free account - has this changed since your video? It says I need to "subscribe to unlock and see premium content", and costs £70 a month.
excellent video Caan, thank you. A couple of questions if I may. I do not have pace indicators on my BF screen, do I need Timeform Pro to get them and could the ATR pace section be used as a first indicator, thanks in advance.
I think BF are only adding them for some accounts at mo, would assume it becomes a broader thing soon? Not sure, best to ask them.
How to find horse who will run race very good. And odds will shift half . Thanks
What was lowest price it went too
3.0
Hi Caan, do you subscribe to timeform because I cant find the information that you did such as betfair hi/low price. I've signed up to the free account but do you pay for it? Or is it cos I'm using the mobile phone version instead of desktop? Please help
caan. I take a lay a little larger than went off in about second 8-15. Is this about right. Lock in a skinny loss
Yep, cut the losses short, let the positive situations unfold a little futher.
Did anyone back a horse for the Melbourne cup?
I picked one! It came in at 25 to 1
but the rest of the field came in at quarter past twelve
Nope.
Sounds like it won the next race.
What if i dont know when to exit my in-running trade ?
What would be your advice ?
Say I checked your daily list. I entered just before off and now...when to trade out ?
When the situation is changing and or you have achieved your end-goal result. Managing the downside and risk is more important to be honest than anything else.
@@CaanBerryProTrader
Is it too simplistic to back just before the off and put in a double or nothing inplay trade in the market? Thanks.
Trouble is caan its sometimes hard to lay it off in running , by the time your able to lay it off,the profit has gone.also caaan your trading stakes are very large compared to the profits , nothing wrong with that its ok , also traders do lose caaan too !
Your vids should be sponsored bt superdry lol
Haha so many people have said this over the years!
The biggest problem on daily racing is non triers
Awesome!
Timeform aint showing numbers for free is seems. I made an account but still see padlocks and want you to subscribe (pay)
If you sign up for free you get the BSP, ISP, HiLo. For the extra features there is a paid option though.
No idea why, but these price movements always seem much bigger in Irish racing. Maybe it's just lower trading volumes / liquidity; maybe something else I can't figure.
Less liquidity means more erratic movement.
What % of your profits come from this type of gambling?
I don't condone gambling. Trading with an educated angle is the only way, playing probabilities over the longer term... also I don't keep track of the individual front-runner results anymore because they blend in with pre-race trading. I know everyone just want to hear what's the percentage? whats the best bit? I'll just do that... but it doesn't work like that, and with very good reason!
Mega.
