My voice is too soft when I try to speak in public. Thank you for such an amazing content!

Fabulous lessons! I always have to repeat myself. I speak softly from doing so with young children. Now that I am retired my husband constantly asked me to speak up. I am also venturing into audio narration and these exercises will now be on my daily schedule.
Thanks for these videos. A problem I have is that I swallow, or clip, the short vowels surrounded by airy consonants (e.g. the 'i' in 'kits' or 'discipline'). Any tips for making those vowels clear without 'kits' sounding like 'keets'?
HI Nicolaas - The vowels need space regardless of whether they are short or long... So what I suggest it try singing the sound out Kiiiiiiiits and hold the vowel sound in the middle for 1-3 seconds.... in the correct shape... I as in HIT needs to sound shorter... than EEE as in FEET.... so when you SING them and sustain airflow through the vowel - you will clearly hear if the sound is correct or not! Hope that helps... Let me know!

Hi Elisa, thank you very much for the video! It's helped a lot already. I have a quick question: Would you recommend striving for maintaining that sense of back pressure throughout your sentences or just when beginning a sentence?
I know you already made one on how to get a deeper tone voice, but what if we had a naturally deep tone, but wanted it deeper? Feels like I struggled with trying to go any lower
Hey 2-3 years before ,i used to shout at some occasions very hardlly ,also at these time i smoke chainly and also drink cold water regularly... And i noticed later my voice lost the power ,and it got shivering sometimes.and it feels very bad voice and less powerful while talkinh to others... I quit all the bad habits 1-2 years before...eventhoung my voice is struggling now...can u please suggest some remedy to get back my actual voice before..
When i read aloud the right side of my tongue towards the back is occasionally scraped my my molars. How can I adjust my bite or what is the proper way to stop this? Thank you
I've heard vocal coaches say NOT to hold your breath at the top of the inhale (prior to exhaling/vocalizing) because it causes things to tense up. They always say speak/sing immediately at the top of your breath. Thoughts?
There is a natural transition point even when sleeping of about 1 second at the top and bottom. However in this context we are stopping you from pushing the air out too hard and harshly by pausing for a spit second at the top then using your exhalation muscles to power the sound correctly. It fixes bad habits really fast !
