@@RenataKleinRK he could have been a murderer or human trafficker. Nobody in her life even knew who this man was. She told one person (her mom), on the way to the airport, that she was leaving the country. If she had disappeared, her family wouldn’t have even known where to start looking.
Right?! 😳 I’ve seen too many news stories ever the years of women going out of the country on what was perceived as an innocent trip, for business or pleasure, only to have their passport taken away and they were thrown into human trafficking!

I would not recommend a young lady leaving the country with a perfect stranger! And she did not even tell anyone where or with who she was going!! Thank God he wasn't an axe murderer! You all need to be more careful with your lives. I am glad things worked out but be careful. You only have one life to live! He seems like a nice guy though! She sure was brave especially since the date prior they threw axes!! 🙄

My first date was with a guy to Florida in 2019.. meeting in a fb travel group. we had only met face to face for 15 mins prior when he came to the airport at my layover. he lived in Dallas, me in Houston. 1 month later he asked did i want to go on the trip. I told 2 gfs of mine and that was it. It is still one of the best trips/dates I been on! We did 4 beaches in 4 days ( cocoa, daytona, siesta key and clearwater) He is an amazing guy, he wants children and I do not want anymore. so we went are separate ways. Im grateful for the time we had together. and wish him the best!

This was during the lockdown so most people were allowed to work remotely if the job allows. The girl have a remote job. The guy is a blogger/filmmaker so that is also remote. They're monthly income in NY is probably a few months salary in Costa Rica.

These two are funny and it’s actually a nice story. I do remember NOBODY was taking the virus seriously. I had friends that left Portugal even though I told them about the virus. I then had to track them down because they never watched the news here or there. I had to tell them they had to leave because they were evacuating countries. They were there for less than 48 hours. They sent me a video from the airport and it was complete and utter chaos and mayhem.
First off, they're adorable. That being said, if they flew there on March 17th, then there is no chance they didn't know what was going on. March 17th is the exact day we went on full lockdown, and it was common knowledge that there was a pandemic. It's still a cute story, but it's wild that they travelled out of the US when they did.
No dearest. March 17th was when certain things started to close down but not everything was on full lockdown yet and no one knew it was going to last as long as it did so get over yourself and think for a minute instead of being a bitter ass Betty🙄

@@csunju yeah but they say and the title that they were trapped for 79 days... only the comercial flights were cancelled and not for that long. The US embassy had many non commercial flights to take citizens back to the US the whole time....
To go to a foreign country and share a room with a strange man to me tells me she not a very stable person. She could have gotten a different room until she knew him. She also lied to her father who appears to really care for her I don’t find there story uplifting yet the sights in Costa Rica are beautiful.
