Questions: Do you girls all choose to dance, or was it something your parents put you in when you were very young without giving you a choice? Would they support you if you wanted to quit dance altogether? Have any of you girls felt “burn out” and actually quit? Lastly, what do the boys in the family do for sport? Love your videos.
Dance has always been our choice. At first, our local studio had a family plan so that made it easier financially for our parents. Neither of our parents were dancers nor have they wanted us to be dancers. Most of us have tried gymnastics, soccer, figure skating & rhythmic gymnastics. Dance was just our favorite. We know we can quit at any time (and our mom has actually suggested at points to some of us). We have all been burned out at times, but we have never quit. Breaks in the summer and at holidays help. For us, continuing in dance has been the right choice, but to do that we had to quit other things. Our brothers play soccer. Our youngest brother does soccer llike we do dance. The boys have been given the choice to take dance classes, but never wanted to try it.

Can you go into what the exams are for? That is one thing that I have seen ballet schools do, but don't understand the criteria teachers are using, and what can happen as a result.
Also, what makes it worth the commute back and forth each day? It looks like some days you are in the car as much, if not more than, in the studio.
We will be doing a vlog on the exams in a few weeks. The commute can be long but ABT JKO School is one of the best ballet programs in our country so it is worth it in our opinion. 🤍

The first video I saw when I got on RUclips
i know some normal schools have policies where if one sibling gets accepted, the others are more likely to be as well. does abt jko have a similar policy or did the sisters just happen to attend the same school? did all the sisters attend abt jko?
ABT does not have that policy. Rachel & Savannah auditioned multiple times over several years before they were accepted. They also do not have discounts for siblings. Michelle was accepted to ABT when she was younger but did not attend. She did spend a year at Washington Ballet’s school. It is difficult to get into ABT’s JKO School in the pre professional division.
does it only have ballet classes? no high school classes?
Yes. It is a ballet school.

Question. How come we don't get to see your parents in the vlogs? Are they ballet dancers? Also -are there other siblings that don't get filmed?
Our parents are in some of our vlogs but normally help with the filming or don’t want to be in the video. And if we are the only one vlogging, the rest of the siblings don’t want to be in the video either.🙃🤍

They are homeschool, that how they can do Ballet.
How do your parents afford all the classes. Do you live remotely and keep to yourself as a family
We live in NJ and commute to NYC for ballet. We definitely don’t keep to ourselves but also don’t film everything we do. We show mainly the dance part of our life. The older you get, the less you want to bother other people (especially our non-dance friends) with film projects. 🙃
Also, once you are a professional, you get paid for dance and ballet shoes are provided so that helps. 🩰
