- In just over five short minutes, Vic clearly explains the core, essential symbols of Rahu & Ketu - the causers of eclipses and symbols of sudden, radical changes. Also known as the Dragon's Head and Dragon's Tail or the North and South Nodes, they are two parts of the same entity and therefore symbolism the same things - but in opposite directions. In my Rahu dasha, I dreamt of a pink dragon 🐉 flying in the sky that’s right above my house. I was battling with something evil before the dream. In the dream, I calmly and curiously looked at its eyes. Soon after the dream, something major and positive happened in my life. The evil force I was fighting against was defeated and it surrendered to me.
I wasn’t aware of the concept of Rahu or Vedic astrology at that time. Just magical. I’m amazed and humbled for sure. I have Rahu in the second house. Rahu’s sign ruler in the 10th house. -Libra rising.

Dear Vic Dicara... First of all thanks for the video... When I use to read puranas and sastras my intuition unveils the encrypted messages in it most of the time and that's due to God's grace... My opinion about Rahu and ketu is that Rahu tries to activate and bloom the lower chakras in the body and so there will be materialistic abundance... Ketu makes to activate Ajna & Sahasrara chakra in the body which amplifies spiritual abundance... These work with the help of other grahas to achieve their goal... That's my understanding...

HI Vraja thanks. Love your videos. Krishna says lust is the greatest enemy of mankind. Its therefore maybe quite/very important to see how it works in a chart. Would you say Rahu represents what a person lusts after? I've heard it shows what we crave - why we got this incarnation. There must be something in this creation we want. Or does moon also represent that - doesn't moon represent what mainly interests us? How would we see a person who has no lust, or a person who has conquered lust? Can you shed some light on this? Is ketu an absence of lust? I heard a lot of astrologers say we should follow Rahu and not stay trapped in our past life accomplishments represented by Ketu? But if Rahu is lust maybe we should do the opposite?
Thank you Maryahari. However, I think you have misunderstood Krishna's description of "lust."
He says that HE HIMSELF is lust (कामोऽस्मि kāmo'smi), and he accepts the universal Vedic declaration of lust (काम kāma) as one of the four ESSENTIAL GOALS OF LIFE. He does also describe lust in a selfish context, when partnered with greed and anger - and says that this lust is an enemy of morality and self-realization.
Rāhu is the externalizing force, so it can propel the symbols it associates towards external objects. Moon represents desire. Mars represents selishness. Venus represents sense objects. All these have to come together in negative ways to describe the negative lust you referred to. They can come together in positive ways to describe the positive lust which is the essence of pleasure, happiness, and love.
Lust also means desire the mind is always full of desire towards the end of chapter 3 lord krishna talks about this lust desire which is the root cause of maya dominating human mind

I've been researching Nibiru lately which has lead me to so many different things that it's mind-blowing. I honestly don't even know how to describe everything in just 1 comment. But of course I still have questions & it seems like you may have some answers.
Sun worship has been going on since the beginning of time. Some religions believe the story of Christ, The Son, is actually the story of the sun. Without going into detail about it the occult use the sun symbolism, as well as the crescent moon and also Venus. All different civilizations throughout history used this same symbolism. There's a 4 pointed star ❇ with rays (or winged disk), an 8 pointed star ✳ (presumably is venus) and a crescent 🌙 moon, except the crescent is shown horizontally whereas it's always been vertical. 🤔 Therefore it has to be an eclipse, correct?
So since the sun is being eclipsed by the moon, that leaves 2 other depictions unaccounted for, the 4 pointed star or + cross (or winged disk) & the 8 pointed star. Sumerian tablets, Egyptian hieroglyphs, Mayan, etc all depict it this way. There are other celestial objects often depicted alongside these 3 which are 7 planets or stars and a comet with 2 tails. Usually a "person" is depicted as well holding a pine cone & bucket, or a branch of some sort bearing 3 "fruits. "The 7 planets or stars is presumably the "7 sisters" of the Plaides constellation and the 3 fruits are presumably Orion's belt. These 2 groups (Ex. Amos 5:8) are mentioned together in scripture a few times.
I'm assuming the 4 pointed star (+ or winged disk) is Nibiru. Different civilizations all have their own names for it. Sumerian- Nibiru. Mayan- Red Kachina. Chinese- Great Dragon. Jews- The Destroyer. Hindu- Rahu. German- Wolf Fenriz.
Modern day astrophysicists call it Nemesis. They theorize there's a dark star being a brown or red dwarf that emits light outside the visible spectrum, therefore nearly impossible to the naked eye. The Hindu's belief of an invisible serpent named Rahu eating the sun is similar to the German's belief. The Gnostic version is a lion serpent.
Anyway, in symbolism all throughout history there are a group of 3 celestial objects, the sun, moon and a 3rd object (usually an eye, winged globe or sunburst). For instance the image of the freemasonry lodge with the 2 pillars. Above, or on the pillars, depending on the time period are always 3 celestial objects, a sun, moon and a 3rd object which could be an eye, a pyramid, a bust/man's head, + cross, etc.
So I have to ask, how does Nibiru play into it? Nibiru, in my opinion is currently one of the invisible orbs that stays around Polaris. They have been captured on film by people who were filming solar eclipses from planes. There's religious text, such as Hindu like I mentioned earlier, as well as historical writings that describe these invisible orbs, or "dark stars." It seems as though they're called dark stars because of their makeup (dark matter) rather than their appearance. This would explain what actually eclipses the sun during solar eclipses. If the moon was eclipsing it we would see the moon traveling along its path in the sky but that's never happened. In fact, there's written documents from people all the way back to at least the 1600s who described seeing the moon in the sky, away from the sun, during a solar eclipse.
I suspect cern is conjuring up dark matter that'll give "life" back to the fallen angels who are bound. Their souls are demons, disguised as stars. "Lucifer disguises himself as a being of light." Amos 5:6-8 tells us a great star named wormwood comes from "in the earth". That's bc they're bound, under the euphrates. But once the Abyss is opened they'll be free again.
Wormwood is Nibiru, in my opinion, which has countless other names as well. I believe Nibiru is that 3rd celestial object the occult worship. It's the coming together of good & evil. The dark sun (Nibiru) eclipses the real sun, which symbolizes lucifer overpowering The Son, Jesus Christ.
Thoughts? I'd be curious to know about the constellations during that time which are also described in scripture. There's so much more I could add but this is long enough as it is, I apologize for that. Thanks for your time.
Edited to say that Allister Crowley wrote many occult books but one in particular "the book of Lies" describes the feast of the lion serpent. Also, he signed his name with the omega symbol that's used to represent Rahu

I've been researching Rahu and Ketu for months, and this is one of my favorite essential descriptions.
Question: any insight into the deeper cosmological understanding of Rahu and Ketu? I understand the technicals of the astronomy involved (potential eclipse points where paths of sun and moon intersect). I also know the story / myth. But how does Vedic cosmology understand it? How are Rahu and Ketu understood in context of a larger cosmology, philosophy, or metaphysics? Because, unlike the actual planets (Sun, Moon, etc), Rahu / Ketu are VIRTUAL points of reference. How can a non-object, non-dual plane have such a super significant influence?

There is no deeper understanding. When ancients were trying to find answers and co-relate the events on earth to something beyond, be either physical or metaphysical symbolism, they assigned the moods, events, caste, etc to them based on their understanding at that time. That is why you don't find a planet like Uranus in their books. Sun and Moon are also considered planets for them. I am not sure when they changed their model to the heliocentric model, before or after Bruno.

Slant this in a positive or negative direction depending on the positivity or negativity of the moon, and aspects to Ketu/Moon, and the condition of the 10th lord and whether or not it can aspect the 10th house.

2:02 I dont remember being able to see the moon in the sky just prior to an eclipse, then turning red and then disappearing as it blocked the sun. Maybe my last brain cell is failing me but I recall not seeing the moon at all on the eclipse in 2016. Just the sun that began to dim as the black disk covered it.
