On my side what was said about Rahu in the 8th fits perfectly. Spot on. It doesn't make a difference of course but at least we know things are just the way they are meant to be. Great interview, I love it.

Maybe it's my strong Saturn but I find it comforting when two people with strong Saturns get together and talk about death in relation to partnerships. It gets to the heart of ... why are we all here? And if we all die, and attachments can only cause more suffering, why are we connecting in the first place? Again, another great interview and I loved Karen's download from the previous video;)!
I have Rahu and Venus and Saturn conjunct, the three of them in the 7th House. I agree with this video, but I have also turned fantasies into reality with my sheer desire, and also I have a very rich and creative imagination which manifests for me a rich, vibrant and intense relating, which I find very healing and rewarding.

I have RAHU MOON SUN and PLUTO in Aries house... Its not all that but l look 15 years younger.

Thank you for this video. I disagree with one thing, that it is a Vishnu Path to accept all things as they are. The Vishnu Path is orthodoxy and attachment to the 'good' because Lord Vishnu is the Cosmic Order, or Rita. That is why He is in conflict with the Asuras but Lord Shiva is not. The Shiva Path is acceptance of all things since He is the All. But, that is a minor point to the whole video! Since everyone else is sharing this: I have Rahu & Saturn conjoined in Pisces (6th House) and Venus with 4 other planets in Aries.
I got Rahu in th 4th..and for me, it s been more like a rejection & fear to settle down or hav a family! I aimed to cut off all emotional ties..

Ketu is spiritual planet, so if a woman left her husband for material carrier..well..It can be a big mistake. We have to change inside more then removing our main responsibilities. Astrologers have big responsibilities too. Cause planets/dashas are working mechanically, but what do you suggest for a Soul from that..?.. Sorry for my different opinion.. :)

I too have Rahu in 1st house am a Cancer ascendant, Rashi is Aquarius, Nakshatra is Satabhiksha . 3rd house (Saturn, Venus, Jupiter), 4th house(Mercury), 5th house(Sun), 6th house(mars), 7th house(Ketu), 8th house(Moon). As u said I like to look into the darker side of life. I like to get depressed often and most of the time I am confused about myself as you said. I have Zero memory, I cant store even my own number. But I like to communicate more with my friends but get exhausted soon. I like to dig the truth on history subject. But I am always look for truth and fight to the extreme, I don't want anyone to talk bad about me and I will not sleep if I did something wrong or hurted someone for days . I am 100% always want to go in right path. I get more angry and have ended into many street fights in college days and I get into my nerve when anyone on this earth try to take my possessions or trouble my close buddies, I have treated as body guard most of the time by my friends. When I get angry I don't think about the consequences I just end up into fist and I have never lost in any of my fight till now bcoz my anger is always in top than any person I have fought but later I will paying for it. Good information. I just recently discovered Rahu/Ketu in Vedic astrology and so far all the karma has been true about my life. Are there any remedies to get & stay happily married/have kids sooner than later, since I'm already 39, if my Rahu is in the 1st in Scorpio (Both My Asc/Sun sign in the 1st) and my Ketu is in my 7th house in Taurus, which is also my moon. I know Taurus is a debilitated sign in Ketu and the moon is Ketu's worst enemy. Not only that, I have Jupiter Retrograde in Aries in my 5th house (kids), so now I'm wondering if the retrograde part also sabotages me having children. I also have Saturn Retrograde in Leo in my Midheaven. So basically, I'm starting to feel like I'm doomed and haven't had it easy in career or love life for a long time. I'm always dating someone, just not the right person. I feel how you described Rahu in the 7th, but I have Ketu in the 7th instead. I date a lot, now obsessive about getting married, because I'm getting older & not happening and I meet/date Europeans all the time like now who live in Europe and I live in the US. I'm always working all the time/crazy hours till I'm exhausted in the public/entertainment (Leo), but it's never enough work, money or success, no matter how hard I try (the retrograde part). When others doing the same thing, seem to get ahead or have enough money and I work harder/more than them. From what I read, Rahu in the 1st means that I was married many times in past lives and lost my identity in those relationships and more subservient to the guy. So my life lesson is to be independent and not lose myself in a relationship or depend on them. Ketu in the 7th means that marriage will be delayed (already happened to me) and you don't have good relationships. My problem is I grew up very dependent on my parents/boyfriends and I liked that life. I always wanted to be married to my real love soulmate (not a karmic soulmate), cook/clean, take care of the kids and do something artsy on the side that could make money or turn into a business, but if it didn't it wasn't the end of the world, because my husband was the breadwinner. I don't like controlling guys. I would never stand for a guy saying you can't see your friends or you can't do this/that. I think it is ok to be your own person & do your own thing in a relationship some times, as long as you are not doing anything disrespectful to the other person & share your plans with the other person so they know where you went out of courtesy/safety. I would never be subservient to a guy, but I don't mind if he is head of the household & I am ok with him feeling that he is the head of the family. That's still what I want, the traditional family I grew up with. For the past 15 years, I was forced to be independent and I'm an extremely hard worker, but I hate working as hard as I do and struggling. I never wanted to be this career woman that I basically had no choice in becoming and I'm not very happy with it. There are pluses and minuses of my job, but I don't feel it's fulfilling. I feel I work to pay my bills to live that's it and instead of finding my own identity, I felt I lost it with how much I work. I started never going out for years with friends, exercising or doing art I like to do, because I was too tired from work. The only thing I did make time for was relationships sometimes, but work comes first. I just started forcing myself to exercise and trying to do activities, because I feel I'm wasting my life working to live. I feel the Karma won. I'm independent, working harder than most people I know, but not getting anywhere, because Saturn is retrograde in my midheaven. So when is enough, enough? When is the lesson learned? I know what it is like to work hard, be independent and pay my bills, I get it. My biggest desire is still to get married and have kids with not much time left. I don't want to live in this world if that doesn't happen, so what can I do to change my fate? Also the person I just recently started seeing had their Rahu in Scorpio in the 8th house and Ketu in Taurus in the 2nd house, same as me, but in different houses. My sun is in his Rahu, my moon is in his Ketu, My Mercury is in his Rahu, His Jupiter is in my Ketu, My Asc is in his Rahu. Plus my Mars is his Sun/Venus, We both have Leo in Saturn, Sag in Neptune, Scorpio in Uranus and Libra in Pluto. So I'm assuming we have a lot of karma together. I read up on some of these, some are negative and some very positive. Sorry so long, just wondering if there are any remedies for me, since I'm feeling so lost about the direction of my life/future. Les A Actually, I apologize I got mixed up. I just looked at my chart and my Saturn is Leo Retrograde in the 9th house and my midheaven is in Leo. My moon/Sun both square my midheaven, so maybe that's why I struggle in career? Actually the charts generated in Vedic astrology & Natal astrology is somewhat different. Either the ascendent or some planets change in house or sign or there are even new conjunctions. So you need to check the Vedic chart for the concept of Rahu & Ketu. In Natal chart the significance of Rahu & Ketu is minimised.
But just for a thought, Rahu & Sun in Scorpio in the 1st house & Ketu & Moon in Taurus in 7th house with Jupiter aspecting from 5th house is just very rare & difficult. On a personality level the person will be an illusion of larger than life, but in personal life he will be completely unsatisfied mentally & emotionally. He might be desiring romance or affair with someone of higher status or wealthy or knowledgeable. He might be having too many affairs too, but he will always be unfulfilled especially emotionally.
Maybe his father might be having a very good personality & his mother will be emotional & caring.

I don´t agree with that Rahu in the Eight house is having to do with self sufficiency and that that´s why they have trouble with relationships? I don´t think it´s correct, rather the opposite... :O Or at least in the case I think of...This person i know(having this rahu in eight house) is not smart with money and always end up living on others money but does not appreciate or recognize the value of which the other persons money comes from and because they don´t understand the value of money they wont pay it back either. They aren´t interested in materialistic world, but still they indulge the material world, not paying attention to that. I think rather that they want to believe they are self suffiecient but they really gets forced to live on others because of them not being aware and not completing their karma of own self suffiency/management/responsibility/value/ and being uninterested(?) or just not understanding the real worth of extending the self towards materialistic manifestations. So they become more parasite like living on others which get unhappy with them because they don´t appreciate that they share with them , but they don´t appreciate it because they are blind to the value of the materialistic stuff and money.
