Page is unique among the K-pop market. If i remember it right, Page has been on the Naver search chart for quite a while. It was such a shame that JYP rejected it as a title track. JYP has done the same stupid decision a few times. They don't learn.
Tbh I think almost everything they’ve done since 2017 has been really unique (because that’s when their albums became primarily self-produced and leaning towards the r&b vibe a bit more) but in a way that is more international-friendly than kpop-friendly. Yes I think they’d be more successful if JYP got their crap together but I also feel it’s not guaranteed that the Korean public would enjoy it. So I agree with PD in that JYP doesn’t choose songs that are their strongest, but the ones that are the most marketable. I love love love Page though, and agree that it should’ve been given the spotlight it deserves.

PD, thank you for your comments on Believe. It's my favorite off the album, and seems like an underrated choice mainly because of how lo-fi/chill and autotuned it is. I've been saying the same thing about Bam's use of autotune in this track as something Right For It. Perhaps the reason a lot of the comments on your feed were turned off because of "too much autotune" is because the last two tracks Bam wrote (Party and Cold) were autotuned to death. But when vocal distortion/fx is done right, especially when it's used artistically to give more color, in this case to Bam and Mark's rap verses (Mark's is my fave btw!), then man oh man, just AMAZING.

THIS. believe!really!is!THAT!song!!!! hands down, this entire album is gold. it’s one of my top albums in general (aside from just got7’s discography). every time i play it, i can’t skip any of the tracks. each of them have their own little flairs that struck a chord in me, and they all flow SO WELL with one another, but, BELIEVE. her vibes, her grace. this song resonates with me in a way i can’t describe.

I think I kinda agree here with PD regarding Spinning Top's title track. Eclipse may not be the best track in this album but it is a glimpse of how great the album is. Page also has a high potential of being a marketable title track. However, maybe the reason why they made it a B-side is because they want more people to buy the album to actually listen to the other tracks.
I love every song in this album. 1 degree, the end, believe, time out, page and Eclispe. They are so GREAT! Apologies to say this but No kpop group can make me like every song in the album like GOT7, that's why I stan them. I've been to kpop 15 yrs and I found GOT7 in late 2014 and I never thought that they would make me love thier music this much. Normally I love Korean ost. I also listen to every song when a group release songs but I found GOT7's music is what I like the most and I can listen to it over and over again. Thank you for the reaction 🙏
I also love this album because it doesn’t feel they are trying too hard. Songs and albums are all cohesive and flows well. Yet it does show individual characteristic of members who produced each songs.
honestly, I'm not really mad about Page not being the title track. I love both songs but Eclipse really sets the album concept and the whole era apart from the others. I feel like the concept actually helped GOT7 open up more about their insecurities which we fans are very thankful for. Eclipse showcases the ability of GOT7 as a group that can do other genres too and not only the hype ones. not to mention the choreography that they came out with is really awesome too. I mean both the songs are by JB so it's not that bad🤷♀️

It was amazing to see the korean public tune into PAGE after they performed it live too! I believe 2019 was the year GOT7 decided to leave after their contracts were up. This album is honestly so good, you can really tell they've put more of their spin and taste to it in comparison to their past comebacks. I'm glad jyp is letting them to experience more and also Page would have been a good title track (as well as Come On) but they did well choosing Eclipse cause that shit slaps, and it relates to their concept more.
I love love love this album. It also has extra special meaning to me too because I actually got to finally see them in concert for the first time on this tour.

I think I kinda agree here with PD regarding Spinning Top's title track. Eclipse may not be the best track in this album but it is a glimpse of how great the album is. Page also has a high potential of being a marketable title track. However, maybe the reason why they made it a B-side is because they want more people to buy the album to actually listen to the other tracks.
I love every song in this album.

They are so GREAT! Apologies to say this but No kpop group can make me like every song in the album like GOT7, that's why I stan them. I've been to kpop 15 yrs and I found GOT7 in late 2014 and I never thought that they would make me love thier music this much. Normally I love Korean ost. I also listen to every song when a group release songs but I found GOT7's music is what I like the most and I can listen to it over and over again.

I also love this album because it doesn’t feel they are trying too hard. Songs and albums are all cohesive and flows well. Yet it does show individual characteristic of members who produced each songs.
Fun fact: Jinyoung wrote The End during his break times while filming his drama

honestly, I'm not really mad about Page not being the title track. I love both songs but Eclipse really sets the album concept and the whole era apart from the others. I feel like the concept actually helped GOT7 open up more about their insecurities which we fans are very thankful for.
Eclipse showcases the ability of GOT7 as a group that can do other genres too and not only the hype ones. not to mention the choreography that they came out with is really awesome too. I mean both the songs are by JB so it's not that bad🤷♀️
I believe Page IT is their color, what we see through some of their title tracks is the colors the company want us to see

3 song by jb, teenager, come on and page, they are The Songs. They are the perfect songs for each member to shine and have voice esp.Jackson. Love my leader for that. Eclipse and Page both made by JB so we are still winning and don't care what people say, just having fun.
For me, I love "The end" more because Jinyoung's vocal is soooo well! And Youngjae as well

When you waiting for him to get to page so you can see someone's mind be blown 😂 like I got on a bus for 4 hrs to NJ then 4hrs home just to hear that song granted I love Present album and the rest of spinning top but that song just pures everything you love about Got7 into it ...its definitely a global title track that should have been given a shot in Korea
Page and Come On are my favorites and They are both Title track worthy!!!! JB composing and Jackson singing chorus is THE BEST!

I TOTALLY agree on your views on groups self-producing, they know their strengths and they let members try different styles and let them sing tho they are rappers. I absolutely love this album & wasn't disappointed.
The End is my favorite song of this album! I love it so much, I was obsessed for a good two months with it! This whole album slaps tho!! 😩😍 I am really waiting for you to listen to Got7's full discography and be amazed 🤧🤧

Thank you SO much for doing this video. GOT7's music has improved so much and come so far even with JYPE trying to hold them back they constantly improve and break through all of the barriers normal kpop music has set on them as a Big 3 group.

If I could only choose one, then Time Out is the song for me. Besides his beautiful voice on the bridge, Youngjae got the rappers working all sorts of magic on that one.

Like, we were all kinda salty for not only not letting GOT7 Page as a title, we were angry for "it's not GOT7's color" thing a lot, for the fact that Eclipse have been edited so many times and apparently Jaebeom has like 15 versions of this song - but like, when time progressed it just... kinda passed. All those negative feelings. And now you kinda really... explained everything and it's SO HARD to disagree with what you said. Because you're right. Group shouldn't be defined by their title track. But with GOT7 the thing is - so many people listens only title tracks and they judge GOT7 because of their title tracks - that's why we as Ahgases are so sensitive about it? Because we really try to convince people to listen to GOT7's B-tracks but dealing with "I bet their B-tracks are terrible too, since their title tracks are EDM-ic shit" is... tiring. Anyway, thank you for it! It was wonderful to hear what you have to say about GOT7's songs!
its been 2 years since Page came out and I still love it. Such a shame that JYp wouldnt let it be the title track. It was amazing to see the korean public tune into PAGE after they performed it live too! I believe 2019 was the year GOT7 decided to leave after their contracts were up. YOU COULD LITERALLY SEE IT ON THEIR FACES lol. KINGS
Page is like our anthem in each of their concert now, it's a bit sad that it wasn't a title track but Eclipse was good too~ 😊

"Page" should've been a repackaged album title track. It's too good. Also, your shocked expression is too good, that's how we all felt when we heard this masterpiece.
The End is my favorite and totally it's a masterpiece! It's so intricate and appealing.

Listening to this again with PD Nim. I love your reactions to this album. I love love love this album. Again it is special because this was my first Got7 concert. I listen to this on my car CD player all the time. It is so good! I love all the songs but Believe by Bam just hits differently. I have felt that way ever since I heard the very first time. This album is honestly so good, you can really tell they've put more of their spin and taste to it in comparison to their past comebacks. I'm glad jyp is letting them to experience more and also Page would have been a good title track (as well as Come On) but they did well choosing Eclipse cause that shit slaps, and it relates to their concept more.
1º is one of their best songs hands down
