Use the forklift with the clamps instead of the skidsteer you can control the cans more like a plow and also is cheaper to run since it's propane rather than diesel for the skidsteer and is a healthier choice to run indoors with the exhaust the skid puts out. We use our electric forklift for the same thing and works more efficient. Good luck keep up the good work!
ka7wyf An adaptable one on this vehicle, even hand made. It would allow them to push cans without spreading them everyxhere like that, and could save several back and forth on each load.
Done it many times that way. Overhead crane dumped trailers right on to conveyor. They had huge warehouses filled with thousands of bails bigger than that
should put one of those snowplows the extends from 4ft up to 12 foot wide ..perfect for that job get up to the hopper start to pull the plow in and the can wil go right in the hopper for the crusher..plus those plows are designed for skid loader
Nice machine but layout of the facility doesn't make sense. There is too much movement of feedstock before the baling and the cycle time to unload the truck looks way too slow. If that was a grain handling facility the truck would tip and go, couple of minutes cycle time tops. You could put in an extra conveyor and save the cost of a skid steer. Technical question: is there anything on the baler/feed system to pull out ferrous materials or are you just trusting that the public will recycle properly?
Lots of wasted gas and man hours used pushing all those cans across the floor to the conveyor. All they need to do is build a shoot at the bay door closest to the machine, install some blowers, and it's automatic.
those prices are pretty close on current market prices going off dealer prices. .50 cents a pound times 300 pounds is roughly $150 a bale. Aluminum isn't a big money maker, lots of bulk not a lot of weight. I was a nonferrous buyer at a yard for over 3 years before i left this year
They're just fooling around in a bobcat. A couple of guys with brooms would be more efficient in terms of sweeping it into the conveyor. And do we need the bloody music all the time?
I hope that wasn't a serious comment?? You really think a guy with a 2 foot wide push broom can work faster than a skid steer with a 1 cubic yard bucket pushing approx. 75-100 cans per swipe at 7 miles per hour?
Well sheeeeet son you sound like an expert! Why did you ask the question if you already knew the answer smarty pants? Just to stroke your own (rather small) member? Damn son.

You tube is full of experts just waiting to let people know that they know a better way to do what you do.
You need a inverted v plow !
the tractor/skid steer can do multiple jobs. why a v plow just to push cans?
ka7wyf

michaelovitch, I believe that those half tires they use to push manure or snow with would work
yep !
@@Ka7wyf If the majority of the job of the skid steer is to push stuff towards the feed conveyor, then why not buy an implement to do the job faster?
Would make more sense to put the bailer next to the door and not use the bobcat
Done it many times that way. Overhead crane dumped trailers right on to conveyor. They had huge warehouses filled with thousands of bails bigger than that
At least get a snow plow box so the cans don't spill out the sides of the bucket.
Lukelins1 i

At least someone is recycling go for it good luck 😉
That shop layout does not look very efficient to me.
have u ever been to a landfill? haha nevermind.
exactly, wouldn't it make more sense to have the trucks dump the cans directly onto the conveyor belt?
Yeah but its on of the first bales
I remember when this video was new.
If the skid steer had a box blade that would make things faster and easer
Why not use the bay door that was right next to the conveyor? Duhhh?
Yall need a V plow for that skid steer
That's a cool setup you guys have.
So how much does that bale weigh?
This is not industry;it is Modern Art!
Sure seems to be a lot of dirt mixed in with those cans.
Absolutely no one clicks these types of videos for the music
First bale? Was this baler pre used before you got it?, bale table looks battered to me and the stairs to the controls has the paint worn off
Maybe because of the amount thats going in at once will jam the baler up?
A beautiful chunk of some serious change!
Where is this plant ...india
sir you needs this machine
WHAT HOLDS THE BALES TOGETHER? I DIDNT SEE ANY WIRE OR BANDING!
Its all just pressed together really tight
I wood have a blast snow shoveling all that in the baler
it be hard but fun

I dont know ... But maybe a wider blade. On that bobcat might help. Duaaaa

y did u not back up the truck to the convayer bely and unload there
How much cash would 1 of those bales yield ?
UBC is worth .50-.60 cents a lb roughly and those bales that size are probably 300# bales.
But how much money would you make from that in current market

Who makes those tires on the skid steer?
WHY so much ill-used space?
I like the part when the skid steer moved stuff
1987 ??
did you not notice its a semi box trailer and they had an excavator outside tilting it up to make it dump out the can....its not a tilt trailer....
Was that you 3 years old kid holding the camera ?
Show me more video! Please🤗😁😷if you can, wonderful!
Dam. Two big bags. I'll be 👌..😜
Mabey some jersey walls to funnel the cans to the conveyor so they don’t just keep spreading out all over the floor
how much did this baler cost?
You Will need a new grabber for skidder fast whit that operator in it wow🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
A better idea is to simply get rid of the bobcat and have the dump truck pour the material directly into the baler
this music is giving me headache... boo
I personally found the music quite nice
Beer cans from last nights party.
They should all be wearing respirators and there's no safety guard to stop people from falling into the crusher
Now that's a bale.
They're just fooling around in a bobcat. A couple of guys with brooms would be more efficient in terms of sweeping it into the conveyor. And do we need the bloody music all the time?
What is this
we have an hv10 and a hv12 they are awesome!!!!
Then you have those clowns ripping off the tops of the cans... good luck scraping those up with the skid steer
That's a shit ton of cans
WTF with the music 😫
I hope that wasn't a serious comment?? You really think a guy with a 2 foot wide push broom can work faster than a skid steer with a 1 cubic yard bucket pushing approx. 75-100 cans per swipe at 7 miles per hour?
One person could swipe it honestly
thats a schnazzzzy setup
People make alot of money off trash.
A couple of guys with sweeping brushes would be cheaper ;)
I'm getting thirsty watching that tin y little thing push those cans around the truck should be tipping straight into that conveyor
more fun for skid driver
This is the most inefficient installation of an efficient machine that i think i have ever seen! Thanks for stealing Gretas dreams.
Well sheeeeet son you sound like an expert! Why did you ask the question if you already knew the answer smarty pants? Just to stroke your own (rather small) member? Damn son.
so bad the music dont know why pll do that better hear the cans
Very nice
Wasting time with that bobcat i would just use brooms and shovels
Someone hide the presidential candidates in those piles of cans.
Omg I've read the comments... I cant stop laughing... Y'all need some improvement ...but good luck
Christ!! WHY THE GHASTLY MUSIC!!!
Beer, wine, pop = toilet dollars down the drain.
waiste of time this evening.
Take the grapple off and put any number of attachments on would be better. What a stupid setup.
Lata1300000000000000
.. 5 minutes of watching a guy waste gas pushing cans around.
ZZZZZZZZ
For the love of God that music is just awful. WTF were you thinking?
So much time wasted in this factory.
Can we have these videos WITHOUT the Stupid music?????
It's called MUTE
must be an indian business
This music sucks
thats boring :\
