Doesn't get brought up enough referring to what a amazing lyricist Jaret Reddick is.
I've listened to them since they came out, mind you I only had couple albums but I heard all the Mtv stuff from then to now.
And over that span of time I can't think of anyone else who sings and plays in a band of their genre that was better than Jaret at writing such great grounded lyrics.
I mean he really has something special with his lyrical craft because he put you there inside the song with his ability to paint a picture with words.
It's like he's your best friend keeping you up to date on the latest gossip, or things going on in his life, its like he's singing directly to you the listener.
But that my humble opinion,
Jaret Reddick i think just writes what comes from his soul,
his thoughts,experiences and just puts pin to paper and his songs come out great because he has lived those songs.
It's more than that but i just can't put it into words.
When you play an instrument there's these things called intangibles that can't be expressed into words, it can't be taught you either have them or you don't.
Like they old sayings,
Born to play
Like a duck to water
A natural
One things for sure Jaret Reddick gots that certain je-ne-sais-quai` when it comes to his lyrical craft

his amazing prowess as a lyricist because it doesn't get brought up much.
On top of all that he seem like a genuinely good person who isn't full of himself, plus his work with Nickelodeon, what can you say about the guy, like Jaret would say...KILLING MF's WITH KINDNESS
