The details are amazing. I wish I was collecting back then and knew that was the peak of quality from Mattel.

A bunch of these shoes and accessories actually came from My Scene, Kelly and even teen skipper shoes (those are the ones where the shoes kept falling off lol). It's wild seeing these pop up again in a barbie pack.
The Fashion Fever Barbie line in my FAVORITE! The clothes quality was really great during that time and I'm an 80s kid so I am used to nice quality Barbie clothes. It's nice too that the FF line used so many different colors and didn't just make all the clothes pink (or purple or sky blue). Love that you bought that (expensive) fashion pack. It helps that Y2K fashion is making a comeback so the clothing doesn't look as dated as it did a few years ago :) I really love those black strappy booties and those cowboy boots.
I’m so glad that you’re getting money for your hard work! I was collecting Barbies in the fashion😊 fever era and the clothes were fabulous. This was a great deal of fun. And you’re right, it is hard to dress a bunch of dolls in different outfits. I wish I had kept the clothes and the dolls and all the various sets that I had. At the time I was writing an entire town,so I had the dolls for my characters. But then we moved across the country and most of them were donated, although I still have a few, just have to get them back from AZ to GA. Sigh. But back to you, I think I liked the red and black outfits the best. 😊

Normally I sew my own clothes for my dolls and have never been tempted by a fashion pack until now. So glad you are getting paid for your informative videos!
I had a lot of the fashion fever fashion packs back in the naughts and got stupid and either threw them away or donated them to Goodwill...Still in regret to this day due to the quality lapse from Mattel, I find myself going back to the Superstar/Fashion Avenue/early naughts era on Ebay to dress my dolls and buy "off peg" and on Etsy for my curvies
You chose well. I have that same fashion pack gift set!! Bought it earlier this year for $75. It was worth every penny, it’s actually 3 fashion packs in one set. The accessories are glorious 😅 I was so in awe when I got the package that I couldn’t bring myself to unbox it. I have about 40 different complete Fashion Fever outfits in my collection, I’ll never tire of how well they’re constructed and such a realistic representation of the period. Fashion Fever outfits are still extremely popular, you can get them at a reasonable price sometimes but that entails a lot of scouring of resale platforms.
I enjoy watching You Tube videos on Barbie dolls so I can see what new Barbies I want to add to my collection. I also like to watch people build their own Barbie doll houses, as I like to build my own Barbie houses. I find it very relaxing. I am an old lady now, and this is my hobby. My grandchildren tell me I am a "big kid". The ads don't bother me. I like your show and I always see something new on it. I like the clothes you purchased from Ebay. I am now getting use to the "articulated" and MTM Barbies. They remind me of marionette puppets. I admit I do have a few in my collection now. I like your "show" and I also like My Froggy Stuff. Somehow I have that pink sweater and plaid pants and I swore it couldn’t be Barbie cause I tried it in every body type I have, with your video I see it’s actually Barbie but it’s from the 2007 FF hobbit era, maybe that’s why it didn’t fit well and I don’t have any hobbit era dolls cause they are horrible 😂
18:21 That's an evening pouch, evening pouchs were more or less a trend of the 2000s and past decades, this one appears to have the "pouch" shape (and I say this because some pouches resemble bags more) that gets compensated with flower apliques, which was something common, evening pouches were usually embellished with apliques, embroidery and the more expensive ones with heavy beading, on top of being made out of more expensive materials since the shape itself is very simple and straight forward, it was sort of an alternative to clutch bags and were more preferred for informal evening events and/or more "Active" ones, Clubing. The flat shape at the bottom may be so the accesory could be left standing on a flat surface, and that may also make it harder to recognise as a pouch of sorts.

I think fashion fever era was the best . Mattel should bring it back . As well as fashion avenue and my scene too I didn't have a lot of the dolls but i did have the notebooks and bookbag . And i did some the fashion packs for my dolls i had .

Wow 😯😯 The clothing in that pack is really good quality. You can’t find that stuff today. And so many trousers 👖. Barbie hate making trousers. It's sad we won't get back to this quality.
I think the bag at 18:50. Was ment to be a mold of something like a mini bucket bag. I remember the designs but zero clue currently on their names, with a giant bead to tighten it. Then "fabric" flowers around it. This was before computer micro detail modeling. So i wanna guess a person sculpted it.
I used to have the red pack but as an individual pack and I hated it. I always used to hate a majority of the doll clothes my mom used to buy me was clothes that she liked and not the ones I liked 😂 I mean come on mom I had so much pink in my room that everyday when the sun rose my room *glowed* pink lol 😂 I was always still happy though
All of these outfits are so cute. I like the textures/materials of the light blue ones the most. I can only imagine what they would price this as if it was released today lol. I like the last outfit of the maroon the best.
