Closing night was last night and this song always makes me sob, the Addams family is the last musical we’re doing in this high school because we’re moving to a new building. Our Gomez is a senior and he played the role so well, and I’ll miss him. So many memories were made here and we have to leave them all behind. It’s hard, and I’ll miss the friends I made who are leaving, but they need to live their life. This song describes how everyone was feeling at the end of closing night
Omg same. I just did this play on Friday and Saturday, and when Gomez sang this song, I almost cried. The person playing Gomez did the best, and I’m gonna miss her so much. I get that I’m younger than her, but I shouldn’t have waited until the last rehearsal to get to know her 😢
Just finished playing Wednesday this Saturday gone, and man... I'm going to miss this show. On our last show, I think I gave our Gomez the biggest hug I've ever given anyone in ages.

During this song, there was a fly on my face for the whole time. It flew on Wednesday’s face and back to mine. She saw the fly and slapped me on stage during opening night. Surprisingly, I stayed in character.
I've listened to this song multiple times throughout the course of my school's production of this show. I've also cried many times as well. But yesterday was closing night, and it was time to say goodbye to the seniors. This song had a different meaning that day, it was a sad farewell. We were all sobbing back stage. We're gonna miss the seniors so much, Gomez being one of them.
Did this at school for the years production played Gomez. After three shows got to the last two I finally nailed the song was so proud especially when I went backstage and the singing coach id become friends with was balling her eyes out
this song warmed my heart and gave me sentimental feelings at the same time when i watch the musical in my city, im sure you made your audience feel something magical too ^^ so nice!!

my high school had our closing night for addams family last week. most of the cast and crew are seniors, so theyre all leaving after this year, and this song really kind of resonates with me because of it. i am so, so, SO sad that i cant spend more time with all of these AMAZING PEOPLE (ps crow if you see this for whatever reason haiiii), but im so happy to have had this experience with them. this song is my favorite out of all of them, and i will never forget the memories i made with them.
im playing alice and my best friend is playing gomez and before he started doing musicals he always asked me to help him learn to sing (he already had a great voice he just needed and wanted some techniques to use) and everytime he sings this i cry, hes such an incredible actor and singer and im so proud
