I absolutely love this version. Not often remixes are as good as the originals but this really is, not the same but just as good
It’s great that it can be re- released. The female singer compliments it along with Roy’s sons both playing on this track: the orchestra, well 👌🏻

Did not know they were an English Country Music Duo. After I found them, I also was introduced to "The Shires."
Funny but also sad, that the Brits produce / sing better "Country Music" songs then American Country stars. The new Country Music Singers have forgotten their Roots so much so, that most, no longer sound, nor have that "Country" feeling.
Ward Thomas & The Shires songs sound more like actual Country Music.

Amazing indeed! The orchestration is incredible and the girls add a marvellous twist. But if anyone doesn't like the 'duet', don't fret as the album will have a Roy only version on it too :-)

These orchestral versions get to me way more than the originals for some reason!
Great to hear Roy's music original's always best but thanks to this version because it bring's Roy's voice back on the radio and this will be played until the album release in November let's all just enjoy.
"The Boys" have excellent taste for music backing their Dad. And "the girls" do a great job singing back-up, too. Roy is excellent, as always.

This is absolutely AMAZING! There is no use in comparing the original version to this one. It's just the way how to make Roy's legacy live on. The girls did really well on this track. Roy would have been proud! :)

The original is still great, this is a brilliant alternative version, the RPO did Roy proud on this version.

Michael Maloney, Hi Michael, yes it is! They announced it on the national radio in U.K. the other week. I think it's holographic projections on stage backed by the RPO. Should be great!
