Unfathomable that this video doesn't have 30K views. Benjamin, you've provided one of the best covers -- songs, period -- that I've ever heard. Thank You.
Just come across this. How could anyone give this a thumbs down?? Jealousy? Fabulous picking, great vocal timing and produced without any other backing or gimmickry. Brilliant.
This was so beautiful, so genuine, so vulnerable. Heard this song many times but never listened to the lyrics until I heard this. I always assumed it was a happy song, as in “woohoo we’re going on a road trip to Graceland”, but it’s actually about self healing pilgrimage.
The guitar riff from the original version was always a bit of a "beautiful miss" for me - a silky flow, but cut short by the delusional up-beat. This cover - in the other hand, makes it whole. After all, a song from one of the "Scarborough Fair" composers, should get back to its acoustic, folky fingerpicking root.
IMO, good work and can get better, by increasing the tempo. Another example of countless solo performances on guitar or piano where the brain latched onto a lower tempo than the original, even though totally unnecessary (unless preferred of course). I say let the tempo bring the energy.
We ❤️ this cover! More of our favorite Sofar covers: bit.ly/sofar-bestcovers
I keep coming back to this version of my favourite song of all times. It drives me close tears and inspires me to keep working on my own rendition
Me too :)
Brought me to tears. Such a good song, amazing cover

How did you miss how sad this song is. True masterpiece. Whole album is. This version is amazing as well
the energy of this is so good!
Bear cover of this song I’ve seen. You made it your own while still paying tribute to Paul. Amazing.
calbassas87 check out Josh Turner’s cover. He blows this guy away.
nope @@feny8

Great, love it.x
Loving this👍🏻
beautiful cover
Sooo good!!!
Beautiful
Very rarely do I like a cover more than the original. This is one of those cases.
Class!
Smooth controlled playing. Benjamin makes something difficult appear as easy as breathing.
Nice .
Great
Great cover. Can I ask what finger picking technique you're using here? Sounds really nice but I can't quite get it. Thanks
boxx0r Travis picking but not continuous
Can someone help me out with some chords.
👍
Why does he have to tie a cloth to the first frets of the guitar?
Where else would the cloth go? :p
(I have no idea)
Mute the strings above the capo so there are no unpleasant harmonics.
Injured guitar?
Tabs?
