We get the chance to drive plenty of classic cars in this job, including exotica from Bentley or Aston Martin, once-common runarounds like the Fiat Strada or Austin Montego and iconic hot hatchbacks and sports cars like the Escort XR3i or Golf GTI. But some cars leave a lasting impression on us, enough for us to buy our own. For Joe, the first car to have that ‘want one’ factor was a classic German saloon that he’s obsessed over ever since.
