Just wanted to say a big thank you to all of you who’ve watched this series. Also a big thank you to Luke for agreeing to film his improvement. Having a lesson is one thing having it filmed and put out for all to see is quite another.
Luke managed to change his swing dramatically in just 3 sessions. We filmed them a week apart and he didn’t have much time to practise due to business and family commitments.
I for one am very proud of his performance and improvement and it puts a smile on my face to see him hit that drive 240 yards.
    Well done Luke you’re a star. 👏👏

This is a great series of refresher videos for the start of the season. The weather is keeping me off the course but after 2 poor rounds coming back to these is a great reminder of how to swing most effectively for someone of my age and level. You are easily the best coach on You Tube for all aspects of the game.

Great final drive. This has came at the right time for me. I scored OK yesterday but struggled with my driver, irons saved the day. I now realise after to watching this I was going too straight back and up with my driver instead of around ( thought this was what I was supposed to do for some reason ) hence restricting my turn. Thanks very much Julian this will help me no end

He takes a tee shot better than he takes a penalty. Believe me I’ve watched him miss a few.
Great series Julian, well done. 😊

@@JulianMellor It would be lovely to have a catch up with how Luke progresses into the future, say a 6 months/year down the line.

Thank you for your teaching, and sorry for my broken English (I'm French..😅.) I recently discovered your channel and I really like your simple approach to golf while I struggle like many to have a swing free of " positions in the books..) I have a question for many years that I have been playing Golf (17.6, but in reality I play at 73 years old between 20 and 24) and I do not have a convincing answer: should we consciously activate the wrists in the backswing?🤔 The Pros never talk about "intention" in the idea of throwing the ball and it seems to me that it is an important point to have speed and therefore distance...but I have, perhaps, a bad conception, a false mental image.... of the swing🙄

Thank you for your kind message, sounds like you are a keen golfers and interested in learning more. Within the next month we are working hard on how to transform golfers not over load them with information. I’d imagine that within the next month everything will be in place. Keep an eye out as it sounds like you would be an ideal person help. www.propergolfing.com
