You're a saint! I was getting ready to do all the hard work myself but I decided I might as well search around and see what people had already tried. I never expected someone would have already made a concise and accurate guide already! Also, at least for me, this method still works as far as I can tell for the launcher. The server isn't obviously up yet so we'll see how that goes tomorrow.
Last week you would get authenticated and install the game. But when you click launch there is some kind of hook or dependency (probably related to EAC or Directx12) that no one has been able to get working. The button just doesn't work and if you launch client from exe it gives errors due to no auth. There are people smarter than I still working on finding a workaround if anyone is interested in contributing to the thread it is called "Linux Tips, Tweaks and Troubleshooting Thread" on ashes general discussion section, youtube isn't letting me share links.

Is this method still working for you this week? I get the installer going but the game doesn't launch. The "Launch" button changes to "Game Starting" but then it seems like the game crashes and the button resets to "Launch" after 15ish seconds.
Currently investigating it, but I'm having a hard time figuring out why. On the forums people have already talked about being able to launch the game from the executable directly, but that just gives Error 10 and then is stuck in a connecting loop. But it DOES open, so it's only a matter of time before people smarter than me figure it out.
@@monster2slayer Everyone is having that issue, AoC doesn't currently work on Linux. It might actually have to do with EAC, in which case there's little we can do.
The problem is that there's a red bar when I click sign in, and it removes the password field. I suspect it is some cloudflare box thing but such a gui doesn't pop up
This may be because the client is trying to pass your authentication to the form automatically with an incorrect password for the account. Try pressing tab on the form to scroll through the options and re-type your username and password and hit return when you have typed your password.
