Bro, thank you for making video that is simple to understand! Every video I have watched is like a different language. New to this. Just bought a Supra!
If you have a chance, take a look at the EcuTek with Jeff Payne tune. A lot of 2020 Supra guys in my area are using his tune (remote) with Pure 700/800 and E85. Just more options if or when you plan to do more serious mods.
I just bought a 2020 BMW which had the same B58-C engine. Did you notice a significant difference from OEM to stage 1? I think your engine is tuned stock to higher torque than the BMW version, hp is the same at 335. Thanks
Hey sorry stupid question but I'm curious, if i end up adding more mods in the future on top of the downpipe I will need to buy a different mhd tune/license to support those ?
All of the licenses for the MHD Super collection are included. Mostly, it is just for different fuel octanes (stage 2 with downpipe). They are pre-made - off the shelf universal maps. Adding an intake or ethanol measurement analyzer isn't going to change anything. If you drop in a new turbo or port injection, you're going to need an ECUTEK custom tune or such. Hope that helps.
You are golden! Mod that sh#t! I'm loving the MHD tune. Later model owners are spending thousands and thousands to get their DME unlocked. We're lucky 👌
The Supra will destroy the WRX. It has a lot more torque down low and the automatic ZF transmission is ridiculous fast. I daily drive the WRX though. I love the manual and it's plenty fast on its own. Yes, the MHD map deletes the CEL from the catless. 🙌
I didn't. My ECU date was Sept. 2019 and was immediately tunable. Later ECUs, before the 6-2020 cutoff, will need a bench unlock. The MHD software can tell you if you need a bench unlock.
There are now newer ones like this, www.bimecu.com/product-page/mhd-universal?gclid=CjwKCAjwwb6lBhBJEiwAbuVUSm_5EccRg_4c6PpAxoIMahqGAbTpq1ZqegX762RmwdSWGxmQvwridRoCVggQAvD_BwE
@@purden1821 You can run the stage 1 MHD map with a stock catted downpipe, still with significant gains. Stage 2 with an aftermarket high flow catted downpipe or catless will be around an additional 50hp beyond stage 1.

For sure 🙌. I might look into the Visconti flex fuel kit to run that higher ethanol as well.
@@evlx14 Payne is good so is Botti
Tuners can do fully custom maps on mhd also

The MHD site has stage one listed at 420HP. 93 Oct, I believe 👌

@evlx14 thanks again keep up awesome work brother ,
@evlx14 ok bet I'll keep you posted been playing with bimmer code lol added sport + / Turned on DRL for taillights so it match front
You should have put it in diagnostics mode by hitting the start-stop button 3 times quickly, before flashing the DME.
You're right, since doing the flash I've also heard that you should buckle the seat belt to prevent timeout. 👍
which is faster ,your 400 hp wrx or supra? and did the MHD deleted the CEL from the Downpipe?

flashed bios on my mobo. I know the feeling!
Exactly like that!
Do you take out the flasher ob2 after and use the tune still or does it need to be in before use, Also would if you wanna go back to stock?
After flashing, the obd2 adapter can be removed and doesn't need to be connected. You can also easily flash back to stock 👌
Next time just put your seat belt in to stop the time out, good video regardless
Excellent idea! Thank you 🙌
Thanks for sharing! The locked ECU thing really sucks for the MY2021 owners.
Thanks for checking it out :) Yeah, I had to specifically look for a 2020 model because I wanted more tuning options.
Did you need to get your ECU bench unlocked before flashing?

Does this void your warranty after all said and done?
Yes. Pay to play. Could just wait until the 3 year warranty is up and full send it.
Thanks for checking out the video 🙌

Could (you) like purchase the MHD adapter first before purchasing the tuning flash.
Did it remove CEL ?
Yes, it'll remove the Cat CEL on tunable ECUs.
Can I use my obdlink mx+ with this instead?
Sorry, I don't know. Check on mhdtuning website
Bro i fuel the car with 98oct what i do 😅
I wonder what the 0-60 on a stage 2 supra is
Mid 3 second. Lamborghini Gallardo, or Ferrari F430 territory. Not too shabby.
Thanks for checking out the video 🙌
Ur telling me I just need the car and $500 and I can make 420hp? That’s crazy
Yeah, with just a down pipe and a tune the car becomes stupid fast.

No way you're getting +130 hp with an OTS flash. What kind of bullshit 😂😂😂
335 to 470 on e30 stage 2 map. Look it up yourself.
