The packaging was terrible but the jacket is warm and fabulous. Just what I was looking for and it was on sale! If you get it. Love the gold dot bracelet. Such a shame the weather doesn’t get colder in the south. My mom has a vintage fox tail coat but it doesn’t get cold enough down here to wear it. I have been questioning the fabric choices for higher end pieces recently. I agree they could have used leather at that price point. I saw a dress from Lafayette 148 on sale for $200 but thought although the price is REALLY good I expect way more in the fabric composition and decided not to purchase.
The irony ! I was just telling someone today how it drives me mad when people suggest drinking more water is the key to eliminating dry skin. I've had dry skin all my life and I drink more water each day than 80% of humans. And is the reverse true? Should people with oily skin drink less water? Doesn't make an ounce of since. Loved the gifting segment. And it was fun to see the then and now side by sides. I definitely could not do that because most of my clothes were t-shirts and jeans. No style! Uninspired! Tomboy in the city! 😂

The Nars in the color "Marquises" and the Hause labs was 460 ( I think, I'll check when I get home ) the fur was a size small (which is not my size lol) I ordered the wrong size. I know you don’t like talking about your health journey but I have to ask. As someone who is staring 40 in the face I find that the tactics and ease of losing weight that worked when I was in my 20s just don’t work and it ain’t that easy anymore. What tips can you divulge.
Ahhh remember how easy it was to loose weight in our 20’s 😩 I didn’t realize I had it so easy! I’ll tell you what my doctor told me… the closer we get to menopause (yes she mentioned menopause to a young tender like me, can you imagine my dismay?)😂 the harder it will get to loose weight. So it’s wise to start adding things to our lifestyle that helps us loose and maintain now. The biggest thing she said was to be patient. It didn’t take a month for me to gain weight so it won’t take a month to come off. 🤷🏽♀️ I’ve been at this for almost a year and still have more to go. Small changes like eating LESS sweets. (Not cutting them out , because thats torture !) light exercise thats part of our daily life. Walking 30 min a day etc. She said it’s wise to loose slowly not quickly. I still eat things I love just in smaller portions and not everyday. Also to be kind to yourself. I’ve been stuck at my weight now for a while and I was calling myself everything but a child of God! I was stressing! My doctor said that stress can make you hold on to weight. Google cortisol levels /weight-loss. She also made a point that if other people in your family also struggle with weight, the more likely you to struggle as well. In all my almost 4 decades on earth I have never had this much clarity about my weight/body… it just takes time.❤️ Many blessings to you sis … you got this.
I ordered the faux fur coat from Nordstrom… I returned mine. It was shedding all over the place and it was very heavy and it made me look twice as big and I am plus size. Mine was a different color of this Donna Salyers coat. It was pretty but not for me.
I did as well. The fit was off for me.😩 You felt like it was heavy? It felt warm to me . Not so much “heavy” . Ultimately, it wasn’t for either. I really wanted it to be.🤦🏾♀️
I love the fur coat!! It’s chic and looks expensive. A vintage find might not be the same color way, length or vibe. Love the fur! And your video style. It’s like a talk show! With different segments and you make it interactive and interesting ❤

Look at Kura with the mini skirt on!!!!!! Great wardrobe refresh ideas. You helped me decide to do a video idea that I have been contemplating but was more leaning towards not doing out of fear. Love the gold dot bracelet. Such a shame the weather doesn’t get colder in the south. My mom has a vintage fox tail coat but it doesn’t get cold enough down here to wear it. I have been questioning the fabric choices for higher end pieces recently. I agree they could have used leather at that price point. I saw a dress from Lafayette 148 on sale for $200 but thought although the price is REALLY good I expect way more in the fabric composition and decided not to purchase.

The irony ! I was just telling someone today how it drives me mad when people suggest drinking more water is the key to eliminating dry skin. I've had dry skin all my life and I drink more water each day than 80% of humans. And is the reverse true? Should people with oily skin drink less water? Doesn't make an ounce of since.

I don't like the faux fur coat. Idk, I think it would be cool if it were longer. Short coats cut us in half sometimes which isn't good. Love the COS coat. You look like a million bucks btw. Please don't worry about long videos. I hate when they end so...Keep up the good work!

The Nars in the color "Marquises" and the Hause labs was 460 ( I think, I'll check when I get home ) the fur was a size small (which is not my size lol) I ordered the wrong size. I know you don’t like talking about your health journey but I have to ask. As someone who is staring 40 in the face I find that the tactics and ease of losing weight that worked when I was in my 20s just don’t work and it ain’t that easy anymore. What tips can you divulge.
Ahhh remember how easy it was to loose weight in our 20’s 😩 I didn’t realize I had it so easy! I’ll tell you what my doctor told me… the closer we get to menopause (yes she mentioned menopause to a young tender like me, can you imagine my dismay?)😂 the harder it will get to loose weight. So it’s wise to start adding things to our lifestyle that helps us loose and maintain now. The biggest thing she said was to be patient. It didn’t take a month for me to gain weight so it won’t take a month to come off. 🤷🏽♀️ I’ve been at this for almost a year and still have more to go. Small changes like eating LESS sweets. (Not cutting them out , because thats torture !) light exercise thats part of our daily life. Walking 30 min a day etc. She said it’s wise to loose slowly not quickly. I still eat things I love just in smaller portions and not everyday. Also to be kind to yourself. I’ve been stuck at my weight now for a while and I was calling myself everything but a child of God! I was stressing! My doctor said that stress can make you hold on to weight. Google cortisol levels /weight-loss. She also made a point that if other people in your family also struggle with weight, the more likely you to struggle as well. In all my almost 4 decades on earth I have never had this much clarity about my weight/body… it just takes time.❤️ Many blessings to you sis … you got this.

I ordered the faux fur coat from Nordstrom… I returned mine. It was shedding all over the place and it was very heavy and it made me look twice as big and I am plus size. Mine was a different color of this Donna Salyers coat. It was pretty but not for me.
I did as well. The fit was off for me.😩 You felt like it was heavy? It felt warm to me . Not so much “heavy” . Ultimately, it wasn’t for either. I really wanted it to be.🤦🏾♀️
