Thank you, thank you, thank you for this! Yesterday I was trying to open files in Leonardo that I had purchased from Silhouette and converted to .svg in the software. I thought I was going crazy - or blind when they wouldn't show up. For once it isn't me! Love your videos.
You are welcome! That could also be related to a current bug in the v4.5 software... this video explains that in detail. ruclips.net/video/W77W-IfOUE4/видео.html
@@SwiftCreekCustoms I just brought a couple of my "empty" files into version 4.4.95 and was able to convert them and they open in Leonardo. Fingers crossed.
Thank you, this video was very helpful. I have the Silhouette Business Edition that I purchased when I first got my Cricut. I really love this software much better than Cricut's but it is a lot more to learn. I never learned it like I should have, but it serves me for the things I need. ha ha. Anyway rambling here, Thank you for always explaining and showing us in your videos. Much Appreciated.
You are very welcome! Have the option of Silhouette Business Edition means you are versatile! If you ever have questions on it, check out the silhouette-secrets.com blog or feel free to ask. I also share on the Silhouette Secrets+ RUclips channel too! There is so much to learn and I do not think any one person can learn it all.
Hello, great tutorial, now i could use my previous designs from Silhouette. A question, do you know if it's possible to cut stickers with juliet that already were printed on Silhouette Studio?
I tried following this and the svg file I purchased on Siilhouette Design store comes into Leonardo as a blank. I also tried to save as svg in Silhouette and it comes into leonardo with the cut blanked out and I can't do anything. No print & cut, no editable artwork available - next is greyed out. what am I doing wrong
This might explain why that is happening. It is a issue with Silhouette - not Leonardo Design Studio if this is why. ruclips.net/video/W77W-IfOUE4/видео.html If you can give me the Silhouette Design # for the file, I can test it.
@@SwiftCreekCustoms Forgot to say part of the problem is I modified the file and saved as SVG (I have business edition) and then it shows blank in Leonardo - Sorry for half info

You would have to print through LDS so it has those registration marks to read.
I have a bunch of print and cut files I made on silhouette with my own designs, how do I convert those to open in Leonardo Design studio?
You will need to test the for your files and export from Silhouette as a svg, jpeg, or png.
Leonardo can open svg, png, and jpeg.
Perfect!
Thank you!
Oh man. I've got about 300 plus designs I've bought. Is it too late to get an SVG???
No. You can go in and purchase the svg for any file that you previously purchased. The video shows you where to find that.
