I just bought a juliet today. My frist countour cut was bit to the left. I have not done your recommendation yet.. so far i like the seamless cut with no rugged esdges but I'm really hoping this does not become a cricut issue where i need to calibrate for days to get just 1 precise cut. I'm almost at a cut I can work with. Only issue is that I don't have a pen/marker that fits the white clamp, so I'm using the blade. On some occasions when I press the camera it goes grey, not blue, any reasons for that?
Hi, I have calibrated and when I was going to cut a design, it was able to pick up the first corner but unable to locate the second/ third corner. How can I fix this? It went too far pass the corners and I was unable to use the arrows on the screen to relocate the red cross. Can you help?
This video seems so easy. However, when I do it, I click on the camera and the screen goes green, then I press start. Juliet just keeps beeping and nothing is happening? What did I do wrong?
I just now tried this and if the pen is not aligned in the center of the paper you just get a beep. You can not let the pen start from the home position. This is a key part of making the calibration to work. I had to watch a much more recent video from a different company that sells this machine to find this out.
Great Video! I'm curious, are there any plans to add drawing specific features to Leonardo Design Studio? As in shape/text fill and maybe markers for paper?
Seems to omit Speed and Force setting suitable Pen ? If that a fixed setting within the calibration routine ? If not Too higher force might smash the pen tip , cause the material to skew or tear
Great observation!!! For the pen a force of 2-4 is a good setting to use, and speed is not so much an issue however the cutters both default to a speed of 10 😊
It is common for a cutting machine to need to be calibrated every so often. At Siser we are proud to say that our machines come pre calibrated however it is important to know the appropriate steps in the event you need it 😊

Oh my gosh you just solved my issue of not having a pen that fits the adapter firmly
