Thanks very much from someone who's new to FL Studio. Very helpful video. It appears to me just now that whenever you click anywhere in the Kontakt plugin window, it will make your MIDI controller play the first instrument loaded in Kontakt, and to set it to play any other loaded Kontakt instrument, you have to click on that instrument's "MIDI Out" or "Select" in the Channel Rack. Is this the way it is or can it be set differently? And how were you switching between playing the different instruments at 4:31?
Shot in the dark but, I did everything exactly like the video but, I hear the two instruments within the same piano roll and I'm not sure how to fix it, the second instrument plays on its own insert yet, but going into the MIDI out piano roll, I can press a note and get two instruments at once.
But whe you go to kontakt to edit for channel 2 for adjusting something only thing you can here is channel 1 . is there any solution for that? It seemed very different than other DAW controlling multi track in fl studio .
My brother put kontak on my MacBook and everything works like a VST he even added things Kronos was 100 gigs and he has it in the kontack window. My brother cracked kontak and made all the sounds play like a VST IT will probably take me months to go through all the sounds , the sounds are on the level of my MPC 🤯
Ik i might be late but how do i use my piano roll with the different instruments that arent part of kontakt because they are just overriding my kontakt instrument no matter what midi channel i put it on do you have discord if so can i just pick your brain? lol cause i need help
@@Beatstockpile127im trying to use a different instrument not through kontakt in my piano roll and no matter what midi channel i choose it overides each kontakt instrument and plays instead of them. Its hard to explain if you had discord i could just show you
@@Logan619ine-i5q You should just be using the piano roll no need to load midi outs for a single instrument outside of Kontakt. I will make a short video to show you what I mean.

yes, you have to have a midi out set up for the second channel. I changed instruments on my midi controller.

Use the midi out for channel two... If that doesn't work, use a different note in color (the second color) in the piano roll to write the melody.

Add two more Midi outs and add a second piano and string.
