Signs and Symptoms of Cerebral Palsy

If you notice any of these signs with your child you should have him or her checked out as soon as possible. The sooner CP is diagnosed, the sooner treatment can begin!

I wish my parents told me that I had it early on but they covered it up. In Elementry, I was in adapted PE, and Special Education all the way up to 5th grade. I was made fun of and ridiculed all the way through grade school and when I joined the Army at 18. At 40 years old I got a brain MRI and the doctor said I had mild cerebral palsy.

I have slight CP

I have mild cerebral palsy I am 53 y/o. During my elementary stage my CP effected my speech with a lisp. I also walked on my tippy toes and instep ven though my CP effected my right side. I have hand cramps too in my south paw.

I have had it all my life it will never get better or get worse. Since my elementary days I can speak with no lisp I took off my braces all that is shown of my CP is a 1.5 inch right shoe and a electric wheelchair because my equilibrium is imbalance. I continue to hurt everyday in fact I am immune to my pain levels

Im an adult and im stArting to think that my back injury comes from the cerebral palsy I could not walk flat on the ground I walked on my tip toes an had to where leg braces now as an adult im in pain due to lumbar disc disease its horrible today I can barely walk in can't stand straight up forward without intense pain i have to crouch down suicide is starting to become an oppostion what choice do I have

Sorry about the pain in your back.
Seeing a pain physician could help.
Suicide is not an option please, kindly consult a psychologist as that will be of great help at this point...
