Kraft’s decision is much about Wokeness than proven ability. Mike Vrabel accomplished much more as a Patriot and Head Coach. If “the Patriot Way” and loyalty mean anything, then, Mike should’ve been interviewed for the job. Kraft committing to Jerod is about mediocrity, as we have seen with Affirmative Action. It’s BS for which the fans will be paying the $ill!

Mayo was the captain of the defense soon after being drafted due to his maturity and knowledge. He sat in on coach meetings as a player. After he retired he spent 3 years a Optum working in corporate world and came back to coach with the Pats staff for 5 years. He was being interviewed for HC jobs by other teams and Kraft loved him so much he paid him to stay and be the successor to Bill. You can think another coach would be a better hire and that is legit but the reason Mayo is the HC of the Pats has nothing to do with Affirmative Action or race is all I am saying

As a Pats fan I disagree. Vrabel is good coach but his defenses sucked. Mayo already has the defense down but needs an overhaul on offense. Got a lot of cap space and #3 pick to do that. I would bring McDaniels back to run offense.

It kills me when the talking heads say the Pats have a terrible roster. The Pats have a terrible offensive roster. The defense is very good and they did not even have the two best players most of the year after Judon and Gonzalez got hurt. Trade for Justin Fields and draft Harrison Jr and the Pats are instantly a playoff team. As usual Rome's take is 💩
