Joe should do more interviews on his Human to Human episodes and have an actual defined music segment, like a small bite of everyday struggle with the pod. Problems solved. He can rotate his staff two (one being Parks every time) of them plus him throughout the month. Him and Flip can do a sing along as the intro to each segment. That could be a Saturday only jawn. Q & A stylish...Joe & Parks asking the 3rd host of the week questions and sharing thier answer to the same question plus reviewing a new song or two. Anyway I'd like to see that as a 45 minute segment and it can cut down on the pressure of filling empty pockets they sometimes have....ijs

That's a fact. I'm not going to lie I been listening to Rory and mal pod religiously and it really good. They tend to not bite their tongue on topics as much as JBP has been doing recently. To be honest I think Joe is the one that's stifling the show lately.

As lazy as Mal was he knew how and when to joke and his memories with Joe didn’t lead to an argument or huffing and puffing like Ish. The show's content is not only stagnant, but everything is so predictable with that show. They need to add some new segments, add in some games, live stream, dance battle, switch seats idk lol Melyssa is awkward at every turn, Ish looks miserable, Flip is on thin ice, and Joe is still not confident enough to have any of them transition into or lead topics. 75% of the cast is dead weight on most topics. Even the banter is awkward and not funny.

I don't know. I am seeing a lot more negativity from the podcast audience than I have in a long time. Probably since RnM left. A lot of people are saying they skip through and/or skip episodes now. Personally, I am in the middle of a 3 month break just because I got tired of hearing the same jokes, same conversations, and same narratives. Right now it is kind of a low rumble but if he doesn't switch things up, I think that rumble will get louder and louder. The fact that he even had to address this speaks volumes.

I haven't watched since the break up. New pod feels so forced and ungenuine. Even supposed highlight clips are cringy.
One thing about it being called the JBP is that we all rely on Joe to bring it home no matter what the rest of the cast does. I can hear him trying on some eps but I get upset at Ish either being completely silent or him asking "are we gone do this" and then get quiet. He had so much potential at the beginning and is now just a former shell of himself to protect his brand.
Ice is even worse because before started putting him on blast I was ok but he will sit there and be quiet and only speak up when he is trying to force Mel to speak on something about herself. This dude can only agree with Joe. Mel is good and Joe just sh*ts on her every time so she just remains quiet. Joe has used the good ones up and left with Yes men.

JBP with R&M was the greatest podcast of all time. This iteration is cool but I don’t watch every episode like I used to.

I haven't even listened yet and I agree with you lol. I'm not a Patreon member anymore and I feel like I can deal with youtube. Joe has been playing with this content over everything crap and him telling his cohost to lie just seems tacky to me. I don't wanna watch a pod where I'm looking at faces and seeing someone is lying, no one does research, and it's just a bunch of people yapping about their lives I don't wanna live ever! I listen for knowledge and I get BS. AK gives us knowledge, sometimes BS but I always walk away knowing a fact I can say to someone. I leave with nothing from joe budden pod but laughter and not alot of laughing. He'll I rewatch the pod because it's all background noise to me.

JBP is falling off because it’s too many people that really doesn’t have any real talking points and they cover shaderoom topics which is boring and Joe fail to give up on those kind of topics and about the industry. He really destroyed his podcast by getting rid of RNM. Also, he has to force his staff to talk, they can’t lead a conversation like RNM and that’s a problem . Unfortunately, they’re there for a paycheck all because of Joe’s ego.
I think Joe should get a new cast just for Patreon. I think the volume of content has diminished the quality of the main pod since they don't have much to continue to talk about, leading to artifical banter and fake laughs/interest from the co-host as Joe rambles on about basic stories that happened during his weekend
All i keep hearing about is how bad specific podcasts have gotten. Its like a cyclical thing that has become more increasingly prevalent. Im convinced that whether or not the podcasts are objectively decreasing in quality, more and more channels are consistently pumping out content saying that they are. The sleepersss! I know songs are a min 30 secs these days but there is ABSOLUTELY NO NEED to play 5 to 6 full length songs! For like 30 mins! Play a 15 to 30 sec snippet, edit that sleepers break and keep it pushing.
