Seems you got same problem as I am experiencing, when the motor is way to noisy it useally a sign that the motor needs a service. Hope you still got the warranty card or slip and book it in at your closes Verimark outlet...
Mine is a year and a half old and I've never used the carpet cleaning part until today. Only ever used it to vacuum before and never had any issues with this. My first attempt to clean carpets is a disaster. As soon as I switch on the pump, the noise is horrific and no water comes out when using the hand trigger. What am I doing wrong... I've watched the video many times and am doing everything by the book and I know that all the pipes are fitted correctly.
Hey i have also a genisis hydrovac extreme mine was also like that till i opend the engine and saw that the little pipe wasnt push right in masjien this pipe is in side the unet. Hope this help
I have just taken my Genisis Hydrovac back for a refund. The machine was bought in April this year and we always have a problem when vacuuming the carpets with dog hair. I relised the Turbo brush was not turning at all, even with new water and cleaning the filters. I tried the turbo brush on my Bennet Tough 15 vacuum cleaner and the brush was spinning like mad. We also tried a new Turbo brush on a new Genesis Hydrovac with no luck. The Turbo brush just won't spin on the Genesis Hydrovac. I bought a extra turbo brush head from Verimark and use it on my Bennet Tough 15 vacuum cleaner. Also the Bennet has much less noise and also cheaper. I will never buy a Verimark product again.
Mr Koekemoer I fully agree with you there are just some things genesis and other brands of vacuum cleaners and carpet washers that are not as good as they are said to be it's very unfortunate... Hi the sam3e thing happend with me so what you do open the masjien the unet and you will see the clear pipe inthe enigne ofthe vacuum just see if it is conected in that was my problem .
Sandra Sweatman please note that I'm not afiliated to Genesis, but to be honest I woukd recommend checking the manual for troubleshooting in your case. A new motor cost around R250 and about same to fit.
Sandra Sweatman if there was a burning smell from the machine or if the machine's noise level changed then it's definitely the motor... might be the filter if the machine can still on and make sound... I worked for Verimark for a while and a lot of customers had problems similar to yours... I now started a carpet and upholstery cleaning company "Dirt Trappers" we wash and dry carpets in 2-4 hours get hold of Given via call or WhatsApp at 0725484599

My maid has just used the vacuum without water, only for a short time. When I used it after putting water in is not sucking. Any advice, please.
