Super valuable info guys. I'm currently migrating PM from Notion to Clickup which is definitely a lengthly process. Question, I would like to have a View at the Everything or the Space level, of the Phase by Folder/Client but when I select the groupings that may be relevant, it's showing every little task and subtask. I am looking for more of a overall view. Ex. Client A Folder - Discovery, Client B - Development etc etc. Is that possible to show without each task and subtask listed as well?
You can either use locations as filters to show only tasks related to specific locations, OR you can use custom fields to only show specific tasks. If you wanted to only show tasks related to "Discovery", we'd recommend you have a list for "Discovery" in your client folders. Then you can add a custom field to every task that gets added to that list (this process can be automated with a native clickup automation). This could be a dropdown custom field and would be labeled "Phase" and include all of your client phases. Once that custom field is set up, you can create a view at the everything level with only tasks involved in that certain phase.
I'm not sure if I worded that right. I am looking to have the Board view by Phase. But in each Phase, on the folder level I have sub tasks exactly how you guys suggest which I love. So I can see all of the Clients or 'Folders' that is in the corresponding phase. Does that make sense? @@ZenPilot
