What an incredible day!!! Back home now and SERIOUSLY missing the mountains already! But at least the heat has left San Antonio for a little bit after a huge storm last night!
The storm hit Corpus about 5 this morning and cooled it off down here as well. Really nice breeze today. So glad y'all had such a great time in Estes. I use to get bloody noises like Ethan until I was about 16. Anytime we went on planes, to the mountains, or with the changing of seasons I would get them. Now (over 30 years later), I will occasionally get one at the beginning of Fall or Spring. Sorry Ethan has to go through them. Enjoy the cool weather today, this is Texas and we all know tomorrow could be a scorcher.

I cannot begin to express the joy in my heart when I see Lincoln accomplishing tasks in leaps and bounds. He is such a beautiful bright strong warrior. The growth that he has made since coming into the folds of your loving family has been nothing short of a miracle. It is a true testament to what love can do in the life of someone. It is always an honor when God chooses us to be used in such a way as to bring these miracles to fruition in the lives of others. I discovered your channel a few days ago and couldn't help but binge watch your videos every time I had a chance to. And I have yet not cried for each video. Feel like I've always been meant to be a parent and you guys have showed me the ultimate. I hope to one day do what you have achieved and honestly you've shown me that an important aspect of finding a significant other is that they have the same values and aspirations as I do. I'm currently in community college and working when I'm not schooling, only 19 years old. But already fantasizing and hoping one day I can give my kids everything you're blessing yours with. I'm glad that you all are having a great time on your trip. Watching this vlog now and can't believe how big the boys have grown.
Each night the way I calm myself for sleep is to try to imagine and feel myself in some special era or situation. The more I concentrate on details the more I forget the days' issues and I fall asleep. I am disabled and rarely travel so lots of times I will pretend I am on a dream vacation. It works to make you fall asleep. Tonight I will imagine that I am living in a past era and staying at the Stanley Hotel for a month of R&R. Thank you for this video to help me dream....

Poor Ethan. My son is the same way. He would get a bloody nose sitting in his room because his room is the hottest room in the house. If I close the vent then it’s cold. I had to get him a humidifier which helps. Elevation does it for him, too. What a sweet brother Jude was to bring him back & look after him. You guys are such a beautiful family. I can’t say it enough so I will keep saying it all the time. Stephen you’re a Rockstar! I’m glad you guys had a great time in CO. Enjoy being home & keep the vlogs coming.
