1v7 skirmish match in Command & Conquer: Red Alert Remastered with Allies (Germans) against 7 Hard AI / Computers. The map is "Islands" with "Destroy All" win condition and classic balance setting, default settings otherwise.
The level of affirmation and acknowledgement in these videos is higher than in any therapy session.

The old problem of AI do not build navy still persist in this new version. So disappointing.
That is extremely disappointing. They do not build Air Force either .. they did not improve the ai at all nor did they tweak it. It’s why I did not buy it
@@billsimms2511 You missed that there is a mod which does exactly that. Well it was there already 2 years ago.

@@preuischeradler481 Warst du beim Bund? So haben wir die frisch gekommenen Schützen genannt, wenn wir sie verarschen wollten. Mein Großvater hat gesagt, dass bei der Wehrmacht so die Zivilisten genannt wurden, die für die Truppe gearbeitet haben.
@@BaronVonYolo Ne, war Ich nicht. Wollte dort erst hin, habe mich dann aber für die Zivile Laufbahn entschieden. Ich wäre bei den Fernmeldern oder wie die heißen gelandet. Wäre dann Feldwebel Laufbahn .
Da aber mein Bruder bei dem Haufen war, und einer meiner Onkel sogar Major war wunderte Ich mich, da Ich den Ausdruck nie gehört habe.

C&C RA1's Allies were underpowered from how I see here. but the sequel gives them a bigger *omph*

Why do the cruisers' guns sound so weak?
I don't think I much like the new sounds of the remastered version. The characteristic high-pitched V2 rocket launch is also gone.

Do you mean PvP? I've played some right after release, there's a video of it.
Good game but I was very disappointed when I found out that they did not tweak or improve the AI in this game. I would have loved to have seen an ai that could’ve tweaked to use stronger naval or air forces .. or they could’ve changed to different strategies with their tank and infantry. Instead they just left it the same which if you know how to play thrm(as you clearly do) it gets very boring within a few games
Alright, you did it with allies. Now do an Open Map, No water, run.
I hate to say it, but Mutti needs to start spending more money on the Wehrmacht if Germany is to pull off a successfull campaign like this in real life; especially with the cutbacks on the German military over the past 15 years.

Have you experienced weird bugs when a game runs too long? I noticed my cursor changing randomly until the game crashed and my queue got stuck a few times. ( Couldn't build anything but you still hear the ''Building'' line.
It doesn't happen often luckily.

* game timer getting bugged and game crashing on the score screen
* construction queues glitching out, can't build anymore
* map loading forever
Remaster is great and almost finished with every achievement but Skirmish is a bit too bugged to enjoy right now.
BTW you helped me a lot with some missions! Tried doing them all on my own but some just looked impossible. Especially the punishment mission after ''Destroy the Airstrip''. Keep doing you! ;)

Awesome job! Now try a 1 vs 7 at Tech Level 5 so you can't possibly get Cruisers, Missile Subs, or Migs.
I wanted to do some custom games to change things up, but I couldn't really find any interesting ones that actually use triggers
@@StuGames What triggers? You mean like those 'Use Map Settings' maps on Starcraft or custom scenarios on Warcraft 3 and Starcraft 2?
@@Sly88Frye Yeah, for instance a defense map that spawns enemy units at certain intervals. That would be much less luck-dependant than regular skirmish maps.
Was gonna be awesome if the CPU had the intellect to build cruisers and missile subs to fight your cruisers. When I've played on PS1 years ago the CPU did build one cruiser but never actually moved it and I sunk it with my regular submarines. Unfortunately this game does not have the ability to form a good sea battle although it looks way better than RA2 and RA3 or C&C Generals not because of its graphics of course but because of the World War atmosphere it brings to the player. Well done :)
Have you tried the AI mods? They build full aquatic and aerial attacks with that.

What would you do if you were on a map where you were sandwiched between two hard enemies (north and south) and really close to your base at the start?
build defenses in both directions, or deploy the mcv next to one of them and kill them quickly!

There's a tower defense v.2 user created map that is pretty much impossible against hard ai. It's a snowy map with unlimited gems where the AI is funneled directly to you. I'd donate to see someone beat that.
If you're interested, I can look for the exact map name in the morning.

Sorry for the late reply. Its just called TowerDefense v2. It's a snow map where you're placed on the north end above the river. Author is kayceeteevee.
It's going to be a tough battle the AI finally has enough resources to throw helis and migs at you. So make sure you have anti air too

LOL @ The thumbnail pic of Merkel(sp?), and how it relates to emperor palpatine of star wars, as well as Germanys past. Not saying Germanys past was anything to lol about, but i get it (thumbnail pic).
I loved this game as a kid, but AI not being able to build a navy sucks. Also i wish they could redo the AI so it can learn from cheesing the game. At least some kind of table/tree of strategies the AI can look up would be helpful.
