Command & Conquer: Red Alert is a real-time strategy video game of the Command & Conquer franchise, produced by Westwood Studios and released by Virgin Interactive Entertainment in 1996.

Red Alert requires each player to use their side's strengths in order to compensate for their weaknesses, in contrast to games such as Total Annihilation or Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness, in which both sides have units with similar abilities and rely on outnumbering or possessing a better balanced force than their opponent.
Players acquire credits to purchase structures and equipment by mining for ores and minerals (as Tiberium in the regular C&C series has not yet been discovered in this timeline).
to make ore regrow faster, you can checkerboard pattern the ore mines with infantry, though it may be slow at first

Perhaps this is a price to pay for the fact that they recharge faster than in Red Alert 2 and besides, you can build more than one nuclear silo *Kirov's angelic devilish smile*.

i use to play this game and it was awesome. but when I played against the computer i always used easy cause they could wipe me out easy! this dude playing is amazing!

I remember trying these kind of match-ups but I got swamped pretty quickly, I think this map has the benefit of giving you a cliff to wall yourself in with.
Yep, and if you use the soviets, it can be super easy cos you can place mass of Tesla Towers on the hill. Maybe ill try it.

Outflanked them with the cruisers, but how come they all left the ore in the middle and stopped building and why does the a. I always gather like a thousand tanks in the middle then wait for you too destroy them lmao

How does it come that at a point the whole map is displayed?
The Allies Tech Center has a built-in spy satellite in it that get launch into the sky after 5 minutes since the construction of the Tech Center.
Once the timer run out, the satellite is launch.

Yep, and i dont want to see it. It looks so bad when 200 strips of green, yellow or red are all around.

Yes, also Red Alert 1 and Tiberian Sun are free.
The versions you will find on the CNCnet website have been optimized, and will work with modern operating systems.
