We’ve floated most of our fertilizer in the last couple of years and only put 100-150 lbs down with the seed mainly for logistics, otherwise we were filling every 60 acres. But that cost us a lot of yield. When we did put 300 lbs down with the old drill it was doable but if it was a humid day we would have problems
Yes. You’re correct, I tried to grossly oversimplify things. Good catch. Hotter air has a higher vapour saturation pressure preventing the condensation from forming at operating conditions. I meant to say after the fact that hot air reduces the ability of Vapor to condensate. I had a segment filmed where I corrected myself and showed what happens on the sat/press charts but it was kinda long, wordy and boring so I cut it in the final version but forgot to cut this part too. May have been a little hung over yesterday.
