Thank you! I Buy and Sell Cars and had this 2013 riding around with for a few months then it started making the vibrating sound on the front right tire area. My mechanic couldn’t figure it out but my friend came and drove and checked it and said it might be engine mounts. After looking at your video it took about 20 minutes and I had it out. And it’s knocking metal to metal so definitely the problem. Thanks again!!
Just saved my family some bread homie ...400 to replace at dealer ...I pay 75 for part do it myself...god bless
I just paid $1000 to get all 3 replaced
awesome video, only thing I would do diff would be to not jack up motor so far . other than that it's a solid video , Peace and love brother
Where would you place the jack to lift the engine on the oil pan
You just save me $200 thanks man keep up the good work
Thanks so much for this video. It is a vibration I here. The engine is smooth. But i couldn't make out the thumping. It would go away after the engine warmed up though. Still, I'm certain it is the mount. The sound came exactly from this area.
Thanks so much for this video. I just changed the mount out myself. I had a little more trouble than you because I couldn't find a good spot to place my jack under the engine. But I found a solid spot over to the front, left but center of the engine and it worked fine. Just had to move the engine myself, manually to align screws back into place. I'm missing the cover underneath my car. That's what made it easier.
did this solve your vibrations/thumping problem?? I'm having the same thumping noise coming from front passenger side and it also goes away after warming up.
@@sunflowerette yes it did. Make sure two strong people are working on it. I did it alone and it sucked. But managed.
I had the same noise on my Dodge Dart. Since the noise would stop when warming up it was hard to diagnose. My mechanic replaced my motor and transmission mounts ( both were broken). And now they have been replaced 2 more times. The last one did not last a week before the noise started again. Dodge motor mounts are on back order. Any suggestions? My car has been in this shape for over a year now.
Where are the motor mounts on a 2013 200 s and tranny mount? Help is greatly appreciated
When you jack that engine up, you better know exactly what your jack is on and you should use a block of wood as well. He should really show that.
I have the 3.6 liter engine and it is entirely different. On mine, you don't have to remove the coolant reservoir and the air filter is on the other side. Why are all the videos for the 2.4 liter?
You do have to move the coolant tank out of the way on the 3.6. The tank mounts partially into the motor mount. I just did mine.
Good job man. Tank you. God bless you.
Good information
Simple nice I'm doing all four on a 2002 Sebring 2.7 l v6 could use video .
I don't think this video will help you with that car
What was the milage when this was done. My is 111.725 kilometers and its starting to vibrate
Mines at 120k
Good video bro
I appreciate the video. if you ever do the driver side motor mount on a 2008 Nissan versa please make a video of it.
Wood Crafter ok boss man no problem thanks for the support

Dullah Goso hard Thank you. However I already did the passenger side motor mounts. Need to do the driver side motor mount. Plan on doing it tomorrow, I shall let you know how it goes
I put my foot on the break and my driver side vibrate on and off when I am on the brake I checked and that mount had loose screws I tighten them and it stopped for like 1 hour and started back up do you think it's the Trans mount on the other side now
Would a Chrysler 200 motor mount fit a Dodge Dart?
I changed all my motor mounts recently and now i've got vibration again towards the passenger side.. The motor mounts I bought were brand new OEM. Could it really be they are bad again?
Me too trying to figure it out
@@stretchedout6600 It was a shop issue, they installed it wrong. I did it myself and replaced only the right mount, and boom everything is perfect again.
@@Voltzaps hi thanks for the response yeah I bought a aftermarket one when I installed it was fine for a day then all of sudden it was vibrating crazy so I wedge a chunk of the old rubber from the old mount and I kind of ease it up but when I go on reverse it vibrates.
Hello guys. May somebody told about what happened with Mopar engine mount? Because I can't order it, already 5 shop denied me with my order.
And what about Anchor company, how good their engine mount? Because my friends with Dodge Dart told, that Anchor working only 1000 km and then it's goes out of order.
U made it look easy u should have done a before and after shake
Jose Bazan the shake wont show on video
Jose Bazan its more of a vibration than shake
Great video thanks man!
Thanks bro imma do this to my dart this might be the proble it shakes when I'm parked or on a red light and it only have 100000 miles guys
I liked your Vedic, where is the shops location
Hi! What is the new part number
What about the torque and the tighten pattern?
Torque ft/lb specs are important for proper wear?
Omg thank you soo much
Did you remove the belly pan to jack up the engine? Or did you remove it and lifted the engine?
No i didn't remove anything under there i just put a piece of wood under there on the part of the jack that going to be in contact with the engine
@@DULLAHGOSOHARD thanks for the reply! I'll be working on my mount replacement now. I subscribed to the channel. Also thanks for having Dodge dart videos. Looking forward to more!
@@DULLAHGOSOHARD where you placed the jack and wood was under the oil pan or in what spot under the car
What's the torque mount bolt size
Where are you located at I have a 2015 200 that needs a mount bad
Hello. please tell me which catalog number of the mount for Chrysler 200 2.4. Is there a reinforced or upgraded mount for this model?
I dont think there is another update mount
Does it work on the 2.0?
I am not sure but if its different its not for off
What is the average cost to replace the motor mount? Pep boys tried to charge me $1300 for it.
Damn should’ve been like 400 max
@@missaelcampos4939 no more than $550.00?
I got all 3 replaced for $1000. Used their parts. Lifetime warranty.
I called dealership they are trying to charge 1300 left mount, 1100 right mount, and 950 for trans mount! I'm mechanically inclined I think I'll do it myself.......
@@ghoststride I got all 3 installed for $220 but I ordered the parts myself and now I have the same problem again. That warranty would sure come in handy now lol
What's the part number of that one. Cant find one like it
Its call right motor mount they are only 3 motor mount on these cars you have left and right and rear and you need the right one the parts number is 68102279AG
@@DULLAHGOSOHARD, thanks...
I've just changed the same side on 200, but it's still vibrating, however they've told me it would take a day or two to make it smooth, is that right?
That's wrong if it was the mount and you change the it would get smooth right away... Maybe it nees more than just one mount
That's about the dumbest thing I've ever heard. There are five mounts on this car (3 motor mounts, 1 transmission mount and one strut mount) and it is not unusual for more than one to be bad at the same time. You probably have at least one (if not more) bad mount as well. Check them all.
Is that motor mount the only one responsible for the vibration during idle?
cesar de la fuente that and the transmission mount on the opposite side
