Its because of these types of videos that I have grown to really appreciate how intelligent and fascinating the octopus really is. Also David's voice over is always appreciated having grown up listening to his voice.
now this is what evolution is really capable of, a creature with no solid bones for that matter can haul itself out of the water and move with it's own strength into another pool that may not be that close. Now that's amazing :)
Yes sorry, I understand that muscles make you move and not bones. I was only trying to emphasise the increased difficulty that they'd have to go through in order to get around on land as without bones, there is no real support of the body to help them move any faster or with any greater ease. Sorry if the way I worded my comment before seemed a little misunderstanding. Apologies for the confusion :)
It could. Just like humans could become ocean dwelling, or dolphins could one day have descendants that fly. My point is that that while the process of evolution may be predictable, the direction it takes is nearly completely random.
So this marine species literally evolved to walk on land so that they could enjoy crablegs at will? Somehow I relate to this extreme love of crablegs myself.
It can get under any door, through any keyhole..the pod will not stop untill you except his cold slimey love and will eventually find away into your beach bag climb the roof of your car on the way home and stick to you face forever.
onlyspicysalsa probably not. None of them live for longer than about six years and the females die after giving birth. A 100% maternal mortality rate is a bit of a drawback
How they even get these pictures is truly incredible, a great deal of dedication there. Can you just imagine after a nuclear war, these giant octopus climb out of the oceans and begin to evolve. Wonder how long it might take for them to re-discover the computer.
Sooner or later they will... it is inevitable. yet, think about this: the computer, as Alan Turing and von Neumann told us, have kind of an universal design. If you have 500 suckers, however, the keyboard will look different :))) . there is another bizarre tweak... imagine they can't get rid of the self-destruction of their bodies after mating.... celibate individuals will be the cornerstone of all their culture...
It horrifying because that crab jas probably never seen that octopus before so it doesn't even know what to do or how it's even about to die All in an instance of 10sec

BBC's SOUND EFFECTS MAKE IT SOUND LIKE A GODZILLA MOVIE! 😆

I swear!
I find the octopus walking oddly satisfying..
Miguel Oros so does Japan
Looks painful.
Miguel Oros i was actually hoping it wasnt too painful
Soon the octopus will learn to use knives and guns ... If we teach them.
I've seen enough hentai to know where this is going...
Octo: were you eating a rock?
Fish: uh.
definitely not
Also: WOAH I just noticed this was so liked thank you!
😂LOL, exactly my thought!
Uhhh, I can explain
*It's not what it looks like*
Amazing video! I love that the camera is so close to the octopus and gives an idea of the size in relation to its surroundings and prey. Its because of these types of videos that I have grown to really appreciate how intelligent and fascinating the octopus really is. Also David's voice over is always appreciated having grown up listening to his voice.
LOVE his nature shows, he makes it fun to learn! My cat, Peanut, recognizes his voice and runs across the room to watch too😅

Now this is what i call cartoon movie characters' shock faces
I saw him on a plate in Tokyo.
R R did you greet him properly?
oppaihammer 11 with wasabi?
R R The octopus was looking for a Japanese school girl
Does he know karate
Btw I'm not trying to be racist
MasterFlipz thats China, not trying to be racist either
now this is what evolution is really capable of, a creature with no solid bones for that matter can haul itself out of the water and move with it's own strength into another pool that may not be that close. Now that's amazing :)
God's creations truly are amazing - i agree!
amen my brother! Cthulhu truly is amazing in what life he creates. i totally agree with you on that!
Nature enthusiast bones don't make you move. Muscles do.
Apologies for the confusion :)
there was nothing wrong with your comment. dont worry about it :D
I wonder if this species will eventually turn into a complete land-dweller after millions of years of evolution.
Not with the rising sea levels
Octodad 3: It's not a game anymore
That's ACTUALLY the lore of Splatoon. I'm not kidding.
It could. Just like humans could become ocean dwelling, or dolphins could one day have descendants that fly. My point is that that while the process of evolution may be predictable, the direction it takes is nearly completely random.
AJ_788 His opinion doesn't matter; evolution is proven fact.
David attenborough voice and camera shots are epic
So this marine species literally evolved to walk on land so that they could enjoy crablegs at will? Somehow I relate to this extreme love of crablegs myself.
Let us develop gills, my comrade!
3:06 This crab is screaming lol)
😮😭😭⏳⌛
hehehehehe!!!
I cant unsee
I love octopuses but if I saw that going around on land, I'd be terrified
It can get under any door, through any keyhole..the pod will not stop untill you except his cold slimey love and will eventually find away into your beach bag climb the roof of your car on the way home and stick to you face forever.
@Thats not how you make porridge no dont
@@skeetum8943 Taming that squid booty 😂
Y'all watch too many animes
@@2killzore like Calvin from the movie Life lol
This could be a horror movie. 😂 2:25 Seriously? Youre giving us heart attack with the sound and all. 😂
We are witnessing the begining of the age of the cephalopod as the dominant species of the planet as predicted by the Sunken Scrolls.
CarlosXD I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING XD
I,for one welcome our new Octopi overlords etc,etc 😉😄
THE OCTARIANS ARE COMI-
waaaiiitt a second.
i'm an octoling!
onlyspicysalsa the future is wild also predicted that😂
onlyspicysalsa probably not. None of them live for longer than about six years and the females die after giving birth. A 100% maternal mortality rate is a bit of a drawback
It's no ordinary Octopus...
It's a V E E M O !
Ethaan The Person OOMI
BOO YES!!!
Exactly what i was thinking
It's a woomy! It's a ngyes! No it's a VEEMO
That's 200 succs for one octopus, one giant leap for octopus kind
Dee Generate *move*
How they even get these pictures is truly incredible, a great deal of dedication there. Can you just imagine after a nuclear war, these giant octopus climb out of the oceans and begin to evolve. Wonder how long it might take for them to re-discover the computer.
how tf do u even come up with this I wish I had your brain
Hopefully never,
That’s literally the plot of Splatoon.
Sooner or later they will... it is inevitable. yet, think about this: the computer, as Alan Turing and von Neumann told us, have kind of an universal design. If you have 500 suckers, however, the keyboard will look different :)))
.
there is another bizarre tweak... imagine they can't get rid of the self-destruction of their bodies after mating.... celibate individuals will be the cornerstone of all their culture...
Love the new hyper realistic Splatoon game
KianWasHere Splatoon is about squids. And that game died a long time ago
You do realize Splatoon 2 just came out? And there are Octolings in both games.
Splatoon is far from dead, the second game cam out recently and Splatoon as a whole is extremely popular in Japan
Splatoon is stupid kiddy game buy ps4
+Clanker The Gear Punk
sonic is a kiddie game buy pc hahahaha
This was as close to a horror film I'll ever get, to me that was scary!
I know right. The expression on the crabs face was just OH SHIT!
Damn nature! You scary!
To each his own!
It horrifying because that crab jas probably never seen that octopus before so it doesn't even know what to do or how it's even about to die
All in an instance of 10sec
So cool
2:24 the music fits it so perfectly😂😂😂
I watched this all the time when I was 6 they were my favourite sea creatures
