      @@CassandraBankson do you have a video on in-office esthetician procedures we can consider. i'd love to go to get some services done but don't know where to start. i know what kind of skin you have matters (i have normal to dry, though combination on the nose - no skin conditions) but in general it would be great to get a list from an expert about what we should do if we want to start going in a clinic like yours

    I've had so many facials that I've felt dissapointed with because the actual hands on part was so lack luster...to fast, not enough pressure, too much pressure during extractions, tentativeness with movements...etc. you get it! You can tell within the first 10 seconds of their laying of hands on you, if they are talented and or not. It doesn't feel like technique as much as "heart" or "natural", the practicioner is doing what they were meant to do.
    I'm obsessed with skin care, so I get it!
    I started to write to tell you how fabulous you look! Just beautiful and professional! ❤

    alternative for the hot dry towels in the bathroom... at least in europe. just put your towel on the convector radiator and turn that on. alternatively, in the US, you could buy one of those cheap electric convertor radiators, probably available at the hardwarestore? of course, those towelheaters do look a lot nicer tho xD but yeah, hot towels after a shower, i love that. I remember on the flights of singapore airlines, we always used to get those damp hot towels twice, onceafter take off and once mid flight. i loved those. several chinese restaurants in my area used to give out those as well before dinner.

    Lymph massage video please!!!! I was JUST thinking about that after I got my last facial. My jawline was soooo defined and I was like, "She definitely did some sort of lymph massage, I'm sure!" Thankfully I've taken like 1400 anatomy classes (okay, actually 21 including lecture + lab between my undergraduate and masters degrees), so I have a pretty decent understanding of facial anatomy...but I'm definitely busting out my Netter right now so I can reference it as I do my facial 😂 my husband just came into the bathroom and told me I was crazy 🤪

  • @mlbbgenius
    @mlbbgenius 11 месяцев назад

    I think that steaming just over water can be beneficial, you just need to find out a way to do so. First, water shouldn't be too hot, so there is a lot of steam. Second, you need to have a long distance, so it gently opens up your skin without burning
    This is a well known practice in Russia (but not for skin, it's used as an inhalation)

      You might want to get that checked. I saw an ENT specialist and he pressed/pulled down either side of my nose and asked me if I could breathe better. I was like “omg, yes!” and he was like “yeah, thought as much” and explained what was wrong and why that helped. And what was wrong needed surgery to put right. It’s crazy that I had no idea before that moment. I was even referred to the ENT specialist for a completely different reason that I turned out not to even have! 🤯

    Hey Cassandra, looking gorgeous!
    I have a question sort of related to this vid. I know they can not replace a professional extraction/ full face deep cleanse during a facial, but how do you feel about those unltrasound face cleaners that look sort of like a spatula? Like the ANLAN or GUGU? I got one because it was far more affordable than other beauty tools and am enjoying it, but is it actually good for the skin?

    I find it so amusing that Americans call kettles "tea kettles". We just call them kettles on this side of the pond. You can use them for other things too, like for example boil water and put it in a sauce pan if you are making pasta, etc, much quicker than waiting for water to boil in a sauce pan.
