- The spring runways that are inspiring all sorts of spring dressing...
DIOR - blend elegance, utilitarianism, and sportswear influences. The collection showcases creative use of corsets layered over button downs and tanks, long lean pigtails, fishnet knee-high socks, delicate floral and lace details, and subtle khaki or army green tones. Overall, Dior's unique take on historic fashion creates a modern and timeless spring trend.
KENZO - Kenzo Takada's 1980s show has been revived in Kenzo's Class of '23 collection, incorporating nautical-inspired pieces with modern twists. The collection features a diverse range of dressed characters united under one banner, including suspenders criss-crossed at the front, stripe skinny scarfs, sailor-style berets, kitschy brooches, and chunky knit cardigans over dresses. The collection's wrap midi skirts, paired with vests or socks and oxfords, along with skinny scarf and choker combinations and letterman jackets with mid-dresses, provide modern interpretations on nautical fashion.
MOLLY GODDARD - Molly Goddard's latest collection offers a delightful mix of clashing prints, colors, and textures. Goddard intentionally slows the pace and injects more breathing room, resulting in an array of dream-like pieces. The 'Twinky' print appears on knitwear, mesh and denim, often layered under opaque tulle, which returns in powerful and intensely-coloured dresses, sometimes worn against matching shirting. Cowboy boots add flair, while sheer fabrics are layered over printed pieces, along with babydoll dresses worn with a casual flair over pants. The collection is both cutesy and bold, full of Goddard's unique willingness to mix and match.

I love to see your creative process ❤❤❤
This was such a blast to watch! Thanks for your insights!
I love these videos 🙌🏽
Love it
I like how you draw attention to specific accessories and offer inexpensive alternatives to achieve a similar vibe. Always look forward to Thursdays with you!
Thank you, Beth, for reviewing so much of your research/thought / creative process; you are inspiring and knowledgeable. This goes WAAAAY beyond going to the thrift store with you ...which I love, but it gives such insight into the designers, and your inspiration!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!!!
Right she's always inspiring me
Dior always does old-school italian gypsy with the juxtaposition or genders very very well
Oh my gosh, I hope I have my sheer polka dot dress- it would be fun to layer it on top of my nooworks printed dress ala Molly Goddard. Love all the Kenzo looks too! Looking forward to what looks these inspire from you. ❤
Not me sitting with a notepad talking notes from the queen herself!! I somehow own must of the things that you mentioned, but have struggled to wear them out, but!! kenzo really had a lot of great outfits, and I would’ve never even think to look at them for inspo!! Thanks ❤ excited to see you style outfits
This was an eye opening point of view! The idea we find and apply it, style it to wardrobe. So happy and thankful you shared your creative process again with us! ^^
Oooooo, I recently thrifted a pair of green Torrid cargo joggers that look very similar to those Dior green cargo pants! Now I'm getting all sorts of ideas. ❤
Maria Grazia Chiuri’s whole ethos at Dior has been balance of dichotomies: masculine/feminine, crafts/high design, old/modern, etc. She has a lot of detractors because they -unfairly- compare her to Galliano and other dilettante or avant-garde designers. I keep going back to her collections for wearability and classically minded balance of new and old. That leather skirt (and that whole collection), for instance, flaunts something you have never seen: the smocking of leather (smocking is the way fabric was shirred centuries ago). I find watching Dior’s docos very inspiring prior to my thifting trips. ;)
What fun! Your passion and enthusuasm is infectious x
I love the idea to wear my vintage jacket (original Italian Navy) with a bold red floral brooch.
I also love the corset layering. DIOR is always so inspiring!!
Thank you for the beautiful video.
FABULOUS INSPIRING VIDEO!! I love that you are showing us your love of style and how to create it on our own with out purchasing some $$$$ designer pieces. Stay true keep these AMAZING videos coming. I saved this one for my Sunday morning so I could watch it quietly unrushed...such a treat!
love your mind!
I really enjoyed how you broke down specific elements of these designers and how to incorporate them in our own closet. I can’t wait to see what you thrift based on these ideals. ❤❤❤
Neat!!!
I like that you go through your creative process in choosing your outfits, so I can see how you'd love that with the designers! Total immersion into the art of it! 🙌
Congratulations , your channel is my favorite one here in RUclips , you put so much work and effort …
some think gloomy whilst others think FABULOUS for a lovely change of pace!
This was a great overview of the runways and how it inspiring what you currently have and what you will be looking for in the thrift stores to style for this Spring. Our weather temps have just been topsy turvy, we had a heat wave and then this coming up week we got to protect the plants that was put out too soon from frostbite. I look forward to seeing your followup video on this subject. Some of the stuff you showed had me thinking more fall than spring because there was such a lack of color. Thanks for sharing and blessings to you and all in the days to come.
I really admire you Beth. You have such a good eye and you combine things in such interesting ways. I feel like you often are more High fashion than the establishment.
❤❤❤❤
So much inspiration!!! Thank you!!
So many good looks to try! I'm off to find those videos to watch...for some reason I never thought to look for videos from collections. Great idea.
