This is a theory, not proven yet, but I think Eida can't see the future of Boruto. and Boruto Otsutsuki's ancestor is the evolved god Shibai Otsutsuki's reincarnation. I expect part 2 to start in the autumn of 2024, it is not clear yet, manga artists and the publisher are trying to save time, I think this is a natural thing.
