Hi there. I started my Mercedes W204 2014 facelift and I’ve got a few error messages: * Intelligent lighting inoperative * Left Dipped beam bulb not working Left indicator not working (it does work though) I checked the bulb and it had blown. So I replaced it, and the error messages are still there and the replacement bulb still doesn’t work. There is a led rectangular light in the bottom left, and this still works though. Any ideas, or shall I just run a diagnostic? Thank you.
Thanks great video. I have a 2011 C350 cdi sport blue efficiency with adaptive bi-xenon headlamps. The left side low beam bulb started flickering, so i replaced it, but the new bulb doesn't work in the left side, but does work in the right side. Do you think it could be a fuse - although ive read there are no fuses for the headlamps - is this correct? If not a fuse, is it likely to be the ballast? Do you know the part code for left low beam lamp? Thanks in advance.
Hi ! Great and helpful video . I have a couple of questions. Can i replace my nonadaptive headlight with the adaptive ones(straight swap)?dose changing the ballast require programming?
In this case it is more likely to be a direct swap, but still light modules should be checked if they are compatible at pre-facelift and facelift models.@@doriandobai5732
D1s xenon system and other lights are at completely different wiring. If you do not have low beam, either your ballast or d1s type bulb is faulty (given you do not have fuse or wiring issues).
204-870-01-26 is for NON-adaptive type xenon headlight. Always best to remove the whole headlight from the car (yes, you should at least loosen the bumper) while replacing in order not to break the lugs of the headlight.
ciao, ho C220 w205 del 2014 ho comprato ballast nuovo su amazon ed ho installato ma da sempre stesso problema,un amico mi ha detto che ci vuole codifica da parte dell'officina mercedes è così?
"Thank you! In my 2010 C350, the right Xenon light has gone out. I swapped the bulbs with each other, and the right one remained off while the left one always worked. So, it's possible that the bulb is defective. I'll try dealing with the control unit."😊
Hopefully, it is a fuse issue. If you put the old working bulbs back and still do not have working lights, then probably fuse or ballast failure (although less likely).

Most probably the ballast has an intermittent fault at best, or just burnt.

It's NOT a straight swap! Adapter cables will be required, plus the range adjustment module might required to be changed.
If i just change non adaptive to new non adaptive from a newer model , will that work without any other hussle??
In this case it is more likely to be a direct swap, but still light modules should be checked if they are compatible at pre-facelift and facelift models.@@doriandobai5732
I've put new bulbs in and now neither are working but all other lights work what could be the problem if you can advise me please

Is it the same thing for a c300 2009 with part# 204-870-01-26? I've hearded that you have to remove the front bumper to repalce it.
Thanks!

is the facelift and pre facelift the same? i have an adaptive beam headlight but i believe mine is face lift.
They are completely different
What is the part number for the ballast on a 2013 Facelift W204 C300 4matic Sport with AFS adaptive type xenon headlights? thank you kind Sir!
Low beam ballast: A1729015400 or A1669002800
Thank you!!!!@@xenonland
Do you happen to know a good source to purchase one?@@xenonland
For which country? European Union or UK?

What ballast do I need I have a 2009 c63 with the black headlights ?
You mean CL coupe?
If W204, one of these shown in video, but you first have to check your existing headlights, since xenons are extra at these models.

@@xenonland ok. Ty
is it possible to bypass the ballast? for example if we want to set up led headlights
You will have an error at the dashboard. Believe me, it is not worthy.

Yes, it should be coded and the ballast should be original, not china. if your headlight is ILS type, definitely you should code.
do you know where i can purchase adaptive type headlight from?
Are you from UK rhd or European Union lhd?
oh no i’m in the USA

Nope, the 💡 works then.
Who is the link?
I tried to change my bulbs but neither working now what could be the problem please if any idea or advice
Did you have low beam before charging your bulbs? Or you already had not have xenon bulb failure?

@@xenonland I tried old ones no luck so you think it's because they after market brands
@truthjustacceptmoveon just find 1 working original D1S bulb and try. Aftermarket bulbs sometimes are very inferior quality.
