Thank you so much for a video that I've never seen in such detail. It was not only a great help, but fabulous to have a tutorial done in your teaching style. I really miss watching your voice tutorials. 🥰🥰
I think using basic grammar and going back to the basics is exactly what’s needed when adults are learning something new. You did fabulous in this tutorial. I just watched sugah’s new tutorial and both of you have flooded my brain with such good info today. I’m look forward to implementing it tonight during down time. Thank you for this fantastic shadow placement info. ❤❤❤
Such a smart tutorial with this type of coloring becoming so popular. You really did a great job explaining things that I wouldn't even think to mention. I also love your nail color choice!
I absolutely love your videos Claire, thank you! I have made my own book of your swatch charts inside plastic covers which protects them really well 😍😍 😊😊
Bravo, Claire!! Ive been waiting what feels like an eternity for someone to make this video! My coloring journey began with Prismacolors and Jihanna Basford but slowly I started to REALLY enjoy this bold & simple marker coloring. Now I'm hooked but crave something "extra" near the end of a page, and realized that pencils could deliver that "extra" oomph I crave. But it turned iut to be easier said than done and I find myself struggling with larger areas and just how much to use. So, to state the obvious...perfect video at the perfect time!
I use colouring pencils I have prismas and love this idea of getting a block colour down with markers…I am not confident using markers especially blending with them so this will hopefully give me the confidence to start using my markers…. Thankyou
This is absolutely perfect timing. I know how to color with colored pencils, I believe I’ve got alcohol markers down pretty good. I I’m excited to see the blending of the two.❤️❤️🙌🏼. I need to do a swatch chart! Thank you, in advance for making the charts. Will definitely check out your website.
This was an awesome video very informative. I wasn’t even into it but a couple minutes and then you said the charts were downloadable. I got really excited cause I’ve been dreading that.😂
I too thought that can’t be jugglypuff… and initially I thought it had to be a Clefairy, because of the ears. But, actually, it is so tiny compared to the human, that I would guess perhaps it is likely a Cleffa, if I recall correctly… Cleffa evolves into Clefairy, that evolves into Clefable. But regardless, the colouring is amazing! 🩷 Also, the same color scheme and shading of igglybuff/jigglypuff/Wigglytuff applies to Cleffa/Clefairy/Clefable, since they are all very similar 😂.
@ColourwithClaire Thanks! I never thought I needed an electric sharpener, but I got the amazon basics one and I love it! It works great for the harder pencils, but it doesn't do well with the prisma's and it doesn't fit the Albrecht Dürers. So, I'm looking for a second one, and if you like it I trust it to be good.
*Clefairy (not jigglypuff) 🙈😅

Brilliant video Claire. The difference is amazing. Once you jump into adult colouring, you can never enjoy a “flat” image again. Tysmfs ❤❤❤

You are a great artist with some mad skills 🤩🎉
Thank you for this video, I’ve just started using markers, just the guidance I needed.

très très instructif... Merci pour ce partage j'aime beaucoup comment vous mélangez les couleurs vos coloriages sont très chouettes. Corinne
I didnt want to be that person but I had to look it up as I new it wasn't jigglypuff, but couldn't remember the pokemon. It's clefairy
I was hoping someone called this out

Oh nooooo! That’s really embarrassing 😂 at least they’re the same colour! 😅
Hi, you explained everything really well, thank you! Could you tell me which electric sharpener you are using for your prismacolors?

Hi Claire, what paper do you use to print your swatches? Thank you very much for the free swatch templates
