I'm sorry, but as a physically disabled person like myself, I find the reasoning behind changing Davros FOREVER to be incredibly stupid. and insulting? so I'm a saint because I'm in a wheelchair, what kinda BS is that?
Thank you. Davros is such an iconic character and RTD's reasoning behind why he wants to make the change is completely ridiculous.
@@TheDemonCaine such a shame too, considering I liked what they did with the TARDIS in the last 60th Anniversary special, where they made the entrance wheelchair accessible, NOW THAT'S a legacy change that is welcome.

it's especially frustrating bc it feels like he's making a really simplistic, immature argument when better ones do exist. I'm not (physically) disabled so I can't comment from a personal perspective, but to me there is something kind of off about how davros' support unit is tied together with the daleks themselves. The daleks' fragile, vulnerable bodies inside their tank-like outer shells is explicitly part of what makes them monstrous, and davros' wheelchair-like device is pretty obviously supposed to echo that. Very similar to john lumic from the series 2 cybermen episodes - evil assistive technology as a gateway drug to losing your soul via cybernetic enhancement. I wonder if RTD feels guilty about that plot in hindsight, and is trying to serve penance by messing with davros.

Loved the inclusion of Nyder in this. Yeah it’s only his voice and it’s not the original actor since Peter Miles died a few years ago. But it was a nice nod and it would be great to see that character working with Davros again, slightly younger since we can’t have the proper, radiation burned cyborg Davros anymore.
It was cool to see the actor playing the Doctor got to celebrate their birthday during production. The only other time I've seen this is Matt Smith's birthday being celebrated when they were filming the scenes for The Hungry Earth.
Are you really calling David Tennant "the actor playing the Doctor"?
Now if you could make the entire show available for people outside of the UK to watch. It doesn't need a host, but this is fine for now.
