    Sounds like a lot of fun. I shoot local benchrest comps on occasion with 6ARC poverty pony gasser just for fun. I like loading my own ammo. I use holds from 100-1000yds no dialing (except maybe a tad for wind) it is zeroed at 600.

    Great recap and review of the rifle. I’m thinking of getting into PRS as well and the SP10 is my #1 consideration for purchase.

      Hi Jordan! You'll love it. I'll recommend getting the upgrades that I did like the easy to tune gas block...It was so easy to adjust during that match. Hope you enjoy yours if you get one, and thanks for watching my friend!

      Hi Project! I ditched the DN5 because it wouldn't stay on the rifle. I should have stuck with the Area 419 Hellfire Match, which I love now on both this rifle and my BRA. Thanks for watching my friend!

    I've built a few 6GT LR308's they are just a perfect combo for semi auto PRS. Would you entertain having a 25GT custom build made?

    • @The4GunGuy
      @The4GunGuy  4 месяца назад

      Hi EagleEye! I'd love to look at a 6GT, but honestly, when I look at the cost of purchasing the reloading supplies (dies, etc...) I don't want to spend the money to only shoot it occasionally. Thanks very much for asking though, and thanks for watching another one my friend!

    • @EagleEyeShooting

      @The4GunGuy but you bought a seekins lol. I understand, however, 6.5CM in that platform is not a good option. COAL cannot be optimized and keep mag length.

    • @The4GunGuy
      @The4GunGuy  4 месяца назад +1

      @@EagleEyeShooting I agree, but I had all the 6.5 CM dies, etc...So it was a cheaper option to even see if I'd like a gas gun for prs. I was actually surprised at the minimal recoil and the accuracy at the match, and most importantly, I had a blast with it. I gotten in shooting like I got in golf, just enjoying myself, knowing I'll never be a scratch golfer.

    Great video. Congratulations on the win. Thoughts on a AR15 chambered in 223 shooting in gas and tac division in prs?

    • @The4GunGuy
      @The4GunGuy  4 месяца назад +1

      Hi CJ! Some guys are shooting .223, but in bolt gun due to better handling and higher velocity...They are very accurate. But one thing to note is be ready to not have impacts called due to less force on impact out at distance. In some matches, I've seen spotters not call impacts simply because that 1.5" thick plate at 1,000 yds didn't even budge, and there was no impact "smoke". If you're going to run a gas gun, I'd stick with the 6.5 CM or a 6mm family like 6mm CM, GT, Dasher, etc... Thanks for watching another one my friend!

    I’m going guess by the picrail on side of the SP10 you are running the Tactical Brass Recovery System. If your are that is the best on the market and the same that I run on my GAP10. The GAP10 and the Seekins are the same gun since GA uses the Seekins frame and use a Bartlein Barrel. Look forward to your next video.

      Hi Malcolm! Yep, it's a TBR. Tried another brand, but my buddy Richard told me about TBR and I love it. Now if I can just get ME to work properly, it'll all be good. Thanks for watching my friend!

    Did you consider the 6mm ARC? Curious as the Seekins DMR 6mm arc is well under 2K.

      @tonypipTexas 4 месяца назад

      Hi TrueLine! I considered all the other options, but the reality was, I love the 6.5 CM cartridge and I already had all the dies and a ton of bullets, so it made sense for me. I've heard good things about the ARC round though. Thanks for watching my friend!

    just out of curiosity, because im considering building a 6.5 AR-10, what bullet have you seen good luck with? I was considering the berger 130 OTM but curious about longer bullets but I know COAL is a factor

      Hi Matt! I went with a TriggerTech 2-stage Diamond, the link is below...I get nothing for promoting it, so shop where you'd like. I just like their AR triggers. I use Bix n' Andy 2-Stages in my bolt guns. Thanks for watching my friend!:

      @@The4GunGuy I appreciate you getting back with me. I don’t understand how it is. I’m a bit of a trigger ❤ myself, I have a lot of geissle triggers and they are great, but I’ve been wanting to explore other options

      @The4GunGuy  12 дней назад

      @@mattofjax Love my Geissle's in my AR's, but like you said, I just wanted to see how the TriggerTech would work and wanted a drop in trigger. I had great luck with TT until one day at the range practicing it went out on me, so I switched to BnA on my bolt guns. I like the BnA's because I can take them apart and clean them.
