I'm amazed how many plastic garbage bags people put into there recycle carts. In Denver they try to limit that sort of thing & I Have seen the truck skip bins with garbage bags in them.
you do know this truck has to come into your possession once they finally decide to get rid of it. looks like a fun machine to operate and I still can't believe it has an L10.
Oh I’ve made it very clear I want this when we sell it lol doesn’t have an L10 tho

Could sit and watch this view for quite awhile lol. Amazing gopro setup. You got the whole arm and hopper in pretty much one set up. That packer did really well lol. Got full a few times but it kept going lol. Love these hopper videos!

Nice! 0:53 Contamination is such a big problem! Those bags look like there is liquids, food and other junk in them!
Contamination can be something of any council of any country, even here in New Zealand there’s some yellow lid recycling bins with stuff that obviously doesn’t go in them, like my neighbours house which for a while has been getting a lot of renovation work done to it, their red lid rubbish bins and yellow lid recycling bin have sometimes just been filled with building materials, wood, and other dusty stuff, and then when our usual Australian garbage trucks picks up their bins look at all that dust in the hopper
Christopher Rodmell Yeah, in England we have rear loaders and the refuse loaders always check the bins and contaminated bins get left behind and the owner has to sort out the bins.

Each UP video you post gets better and better haha you got really good with that Amrep really fast! Packer sure kept up pretty well, only filled up a couple times. Seems like one of the best things about an Amrep. Really enjoyed this, jealous of all the fun you get to have at work LOL! Great job :)

hey you forgot to do that obligatory pause of confusion at 9:48 with the grippers just below the bend during which time you realize the can fell in the hopper. lol but for real I enjoyed the everliving crap out of this and didn't even speed it up like I normally do with hopper videos. you're very fortunate to drive one of the last rail arms in the country, as I'm sure you are aware. remind me again, what engine does the truck have? I feel like you told me already
Trashman242 hahaha I already knew I screwed up. I am super lucky to be able to operate one of the last rail arms, let alone one of 5 310s remaining. This has an L10 I believe in it. It’s a Cummins but I don’t think Cummins had the replacement for the L10 out st this point. Not entirely sure though
@@westcoastrefusetrucks five 310s? that's all we know of still running everywhere? and yeah it sounds a lot more like an 8.3 Cummins which turned into the ISC, has that same idle like EDI #44 had so I was just wondering if you had looked
