I can say that both Ready or Not and Police Simulator: Patrol Officers are really fun games. I have both of them and they are both amazing games, Ready or Not is actually almost ready to be fully released since its been in early access for a while and patrol officers still has alot of work to be done with graphics and gameplay. Its still an amazing game to play and with its co-op mode to play with friends its soo much fun and with content and frequent updates and patches to the game
only downside to patrols officers game is no shootouts etc. its a lame ticket writing game and you dont even get to see the court case outcome to your arrests. super glitchy as well
@@Rick-so9bx I can agree with you on that part yes I want to see the court cases, going to court for my arrest/tickets and shootouts too. But the game is still early access tho and they are adding new stuff currently with the highway patrol mode
I loved SWAT 3 and 4. Ready or Not did not scratch the same itch tho... it lacks of campaign mode, settings in this games are just blatantly messed up and optimization is just pure trash.
In Max Payne 3 the camera goes to the cinematic one for the last person you kill. The camera will be close to that enemy and you can still keep firing at them and see the effects of the bullet damage. It's very cool.
That's not true. I hate the movement in RON. It feels horrible compared to SWAT 4. The team commands also feel relatively horrible. The gunplay feels a bit worse. Some of SWAT 4's missions are better, but RON's campaign isn't done.
Swat 4 is better for realism suspect will cooperate or shoot you its more of a true sim game as RON its just a fire fight simulator suspects always be shooting the hell out of ya so I like swat 4 but the modded swat 4 is king
@Troop3r666 yes exactly but with the GTA scope & polish. Every single GTA we've always played a criminal, no matter what the motives are. Imagine being an undercover cop (like in sleeping dogs) & the whole motivation is to bring down the crime ring you are involved in?
Funny how in my opinion, the best police game is still a well modded LSPDFR for GTA 5. I hope we will get an independent game similar to LSPDFR one day.
Battlefield Hardline & SWAT 4 are my favorite of these games, they inspired me to create my own lego SWAT team for the ACME Detective Agency from the Carmen Sandiego games.
I would put the entire Max Payne series, especially the 2nd one. And an honorable mention, the original True Crime series, to which Sleeping Dogs was birthed from. Swat 4 is literally the older version of Ready or Not. I also noticed that the gameplay concept for Battlefield Hardline was from a lower rated game named Call of Juarez: The Cartel, another police game but was criticized for racism and insensitivity to the cartel war happening at the time. Rainbow Six series would've been a good mention as well, but I know it's not made to be a comprehensive list.
I want a gta style cop game where you play a cop and rise in rank and and you can be good cop or bad cop depending on your choices and how it effects you. Game makers make it happen!

IF you want something like Hot Pursuit.. I would highly recommend Need for Speed: RIvals, instead. Has the same concept but with just better graphics. Online is still in working order aswell!

Hardline was pretty damn cool, sure people nitpicked it on release, but looking back its pretty solid.

Swat 4 was a older game before Ready or Not. So Ready or Not is probably taken from swat games as an idea and made it more realistic.
