  • Sharon Zollner became the Chief Economist with ANZ in late 2017. She started her career as a macroeconomist at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand in 1998, and has also worked at the Central Bank of Norway. Sharon created the Truckometer in 2012, which is an indicator that can be helpful in painting a picture of true economic activity within the country.

We have the start of tent cities here in Australia and I would think the same in New Zealand how does that square with getting inflation down and flooding the place with immigrants, thinking it doesn't square at all great dumb policy

And the guy in charge of our economy, you know who he is, I will not name him, is on nearly NZ$900,000. The annual report shows his salary and bonuses totalled $830,925 this year compared with $791,462 the previous year. He recently got near $40,000 pay rise.

Maybe it's time for New Zealand to return to "Rodgernomics" and "User Pays"??? Ardern and Robertson policies didn't do the country any favours that for real!
