everyone is talking about samsung and iphone. here i am appreciating the view. what a sight to see. and yes both cameras has their each strengths and weaknesses.
I don't know about your thought that samsung smoothing the texture of your skin. But the texture from samsung camera looks more natural, while from iphone, it looks more sharpened.
I'm watching this on a 77-inch screen and prefer the Samsung on most of the samples. Video doesn't look worse at all, unless you look at the river one, and that's where the auto FPS toggle (you probably left on) kills it.
One thing i like about Samsung main sensor is that i can get closer to the subject without using the ultrawide to focus for a crisper product shot. Where on the iphone i have to back up way too far and use 2x to still use the main sensor without degrading the quality using the ultrawide. Great video🎉
@@goodhunter1990it appeals to my eyes though n i know alot about photos... It's easy to get a natural looking photo on samsung using expert raw or just pro mode.... Plus i edited my pic alot anyway n i never edited it to look natural instead i like it as unnatural as can be....
bro if you want the s25 video to look less muted, click the 4 dots and increase exposure, there is an option. you can also permanently bump the exposure in Settings to keep
Hey, brother! This was a great video to watch, and it felt even better looking at different perspective of the world, too! Would you be doing a camera/video setting video on the S25 Ultra soon?
Amazing video, i think the galaxy did great with overall color tones, and the image looks closer to real life, unlike the iphones slightly pinkish tone
the both are good, if its not a side by side comparison you dont notice any differences. So choose what you like more, audio eraser is really good, hope apple improves thar noise correction in the future
Nice vid and i think both are great but i would like to ask one thing.. A short video or something with scene optimiser on vs off. I never understood that setting when to use it or should we keep it on or off? Thanks and ggs 😁
Hey Tom. Good Job done through out the Video. We got another perspective from a both Smartphones Camera side. I thought of purchasing Vivo X200 pro or IPhone 16 Pro and also S25 Ultra. Could u suggest me which better as i am confused between these 3 smartphones. My main usage is Taking Photos through main camera, taking Portrait photos , capturing some macro photos and also doing videos.
I am from Russia and in Russia buyers have been receiving their smartphones for pre-orders for a week now, but I want to wait for the S26 Ultra, there are already rumors that the battery will be updated to a more modern one and there will be support for a 65-watt power supply, if there is a modern battery like some Chinese smartphones and charging will take place in full, without dropping it from overheating of the battery, and if some cameras are also updated, perhaps it will be a cool smartphone, although it is a pity that they did not do all this in the S25 Ultra. By the way, aren't you cold in the mountains dressed like that? I would freeze even at zero air temperature, I usually wear a scarf, even if it's not too warm, and a hat
I appreciate all these comparisons, However i think we need to let Samsung get a couple updates in before we compare these. I think in about 4-6 months a lot of stuff will be sorted out. Thanks for a true non biased review.
Sorry but most of the time i did prefer the photos of samsung even on low light... the video i give it to Iphone but is not far too both are great devices... but i guess i would go with samsung for having more features like 8k 30fps if you record at that quality and then crop for 4k it will look amazing but people most of the times dont use.
lol the shutter lag issue (blurry moving options) is especially on the main sensor not the tele ones.. skipping the main sensor for that test is like evading the issue. luckily other reviewers did acknowledge the issue is still there and as a S25U owner since today I can also acknowledge the issue is still there just like it was on the S23 and S24.
I mean I’m not avoiding anything 🤣🤣 let’s bunk the conspiracy theories, reviewers aren’t on Samsung’s payroll. I’ll take the feedback though definitely, so thank you. And I will do a whole section in my camera review of the S25U on motion capture across all the lenses
This is the question I've been waiting to get answered! I've been using Samsung forever and currently have the S23 Ultra- happy with almost everything. However, now that I have a daughter, I'm struggling with blurry shots and missed moments due to shutter lag. iPhones seem to handle moving subjects much more consistently. I don't really want to switch, but too many messed up shots. The S25 Ultra sounds improved, but also sounds like this could still be an issue?"
Samsung a fait des progrès, c'est une bonne chose l'arrivé du mode LOG sur les S25 series. J'espère que les prochaines mises à jour vont améliorer l'algorithme de la caméra.
Dear Tom, 🖖🏽 Thank you for always giving us incredible videos! Honestly, I was just waiting to see an iPhone 16 Pro vs. Samsung S25 Ultra camera battle made by you. 📸 You're the best! 🎉 Greetings from Mexico! 🇲🇽
No one wins except Apple and Samsung's investors. I say this because, as a user of an app called Motion Cam Pro, which shoots uncompressed RAW video (yes, you heard that correctly) it reveals just how badly both OEMs (and many others) absolutely decimate the images the RAW sensor actually captures once they're run through respective proprietary post-processing algorithms. It's bad. In short, smartphone semiconductors are more capable of matching expensive cameras than one might think at a glance. But unless you have access to true RAW streams, you wouldn't viscerally understand the differences. Comparing the minor differences between Samsung's algorithms and Apple's algorithms is a race downhill of which version of craptastic do you prefer? All due respect. I understand. The majority of users are casual in nature. Most are pleased at "useable." So, therefore, these OEMS are hard at work giving their customers what they want. This comes with compromises, to be sure.
I like Samsung Ultra because of the much nicer zoom. When my child performs at school, I can record it easily. I saw Korean news only the S25 Ultra changed to a new ultra-wide lens Samsung's new invention for AI.
Samsung doesn't have to tell nobody that the 25 Ultra is a very good phone. There's only two most influential phone brand out there and that is Samsung and iPhone.
If you want a phone that can hold more years, you get the Iphone, if you want more features you get the samsung, but might have to sell it after 1-2 years.
Samsung looking much closer to reality you say? And then you show us the example at 1:22. Where the snow is blue. In reality, samsung cannot be far from it
Because BMC is basically industry standard for capturing log video, it opens up compression options and is what almost everybody I know who use iPhones in a professional capacity uses to capture LOG
I have a 16 pro and I hate the lens flare, it's a disgrace. Low light videos, photos are better on the iphone, and?? You'll end up with those terrible flares and they ruin your content.
I likethe samsung alot more in most of the photos n videos....i like the color saturation....i don't really like too natural looking photos....i edited alot n i like to edit before posting anyway....
i hate artificial colours that don’t look natural … i want to capture what my eyes see so the moment gets captured properly.. gives me more nostalgia when i come back to see the videos and photos again
Bro, put away all the 2024 phone. You're only comparing the camera. The Snapdragon 8 Elite powerhouse chipset is the biggest upgrade in terms of performance and there's currently nothing out there that can match it.

Yes definitely! In the next few days actually🙌
I feel like the individual pixels are way too small at that sensor size for 200 megapixels to mean anything.
It’s fair, but if you crop in it does become useful
